  1. http://www.senseiguide.com/seasonFixtures....mp;phaseID=1995 Knock yourself out. Tried copying it into excel but first of all the scores wouldnt all copy and secondly Ive had three Hobgoblins. However as Craig is the perpetrator of the rogue? fact, it does fall on him to back up his statement.
  2. To be honest I wouldnt put my mortgage on it. But various searches on google including wiki etc seem adam ant that we did have a 12 point lead. Perhaps someone could detail the stats for the 9 point lead. OK That doesnt say it wasnt 12 and I could paste whole reams of shit that says it was 12 points as you well know from google. Now hand on heart I dont know if you or the rest of the civilised world is right, but its going to take some facts and figures, league tables etc for me to be convinced. If you want to trawl through Soccerbase, noting both ours and Man Utd's games that season working out who had what points at what interval and how many games in hand then go ahead and knock yourself out. I'd seen it outlined in the past - can't remember the precise place I'd seen it but it clear outlined that we never actually had a 12 point lead - and I was a believer that we did have a 12 point advantage at the time. As I said I can't remember the exact reference as it was some time ago, but that link I've printed was simply by doing a quick Google search. So you cant back your statement up then
  3. Ive tried to find this without success but the amount of people talking about the 12 point lead is endless. Even in the last two months the journal has run stories from Hughton and Beresford talking about the famous 12 point lead.

  5. ????? Ive always assumed it was a 12 point lead as seems the rest of the world ( see google) Craig saying it was only 9 points is the first Ive heard and it would be nice to see this backed up.

  7. life experience, not factually accurate statements backed up with evidence! Are you suggesting CT will skirt around facts to satisfy his own argument? Surely not? Well experiment time. Enter Newcastle 12 point lead into google and guess what appears.... Enter Newcastle 9 point lead and a game in hand and your re-directed to a male sexual health clinic

  9. Some of us have seen 12 point leads before Have we? ????? Well I presume you're talking about the media-fuelled '12 points clear of Man United' we were in early 1996. Only it was only ever 9 points with a game in hand. Aye Craig, the 9 point lead with a game in hand
  10. Some of us have seen 12 point leads before Have we? ?????
  11. Some of us have seen 12 point leads before
  12. I couldnt care less if we win the league are not....It will all be forgotten within a week. Promotion does me fine.
  13. Hat tricks are just for the glory boys, much better to try and see if he can get Best firing.
  14. Dont forget Barton for Nolan Even more blatant baiting but this time I know even you can't think Barton belongs in our side. No baiting at all, he'll be back poss saturday and will take some shifting.
  15. We'll see who's still singing it in December.
  16. And a loud chorus of "One Chris Hughton" rings round the ground.........Which is right and proper. Now we just need a chorus of "One Mike Ashley" and then we can all be friends and live in perfect harmony.....
  17. OK I accept that due diligence is perhaps wrong. I do seem to recall that Hall said that Mike Ashley was the best person to take this club forward - a view that he has yet to deviate from. That kind of sticks in throat a bit but yes, it does cloud sensible opinion... Peaks and troughs dear Craig, peaks and troughs. Ashley wont make the same mistake twice. We're climbing out of a trough towards a peak
  18. still gutierrez, STILL GUTTIEREZ..........silence......
  19. said on the radio it was a similar pass to jonas' from the weekend Similar but thats it, Jonas's was a miskick
  20. didn't he finish keegans England career via the press.
  21. hopefully your a level animations and password for toontastic.
  22. He did, and yes we were all suckered, my argument would be that Hall did nothing to confirm how good or bad Ashleys intentions were. He took no time to look into him, he merely grabbed the cash and ran. Plus as "Life President" he should now be kicking off but he doesnt. I agree with that. I dont think Ashley suckered anybody. It went tits up for lots of reason but up until the Keegan appointment and what followed, I dont see any suckering going on.
  23. This is exactly it for me. The only thing I can really critisise Hall for is for claiming to be something he's not. He didn't come in for the benefit of the fans and we all know it. But what he did benefitted us more than anything any of us could do. Even with the state we have been plunged into now by him selling to Ashley (and his missmanagement which isn't Halls fault) we are still better off than where we were heading before he took control. Because we were a nothing club in decaying stadium that had no hope of going anywhere but down into divisions we've never seen before! Hear Hear or Here Here
