There's something very un-toontastic about this thread. Anyway, there's no need for bannings unless someone acts like a twat (to the extent that it pisses off at least half the board's posters) for years on end. Then maybe there should be a vote to decide.

Sounds like a good idea to me.

Well it's been sustainable for what, nearly a decade now? I do understand the predicament though and assume it largely relates to the situation with one particular poster on here. The less rules the better. Maybe there should be one rule something along the lines of "unless you act like a total and utter bellend for years on end, everything is fine"

Probably been seen by everyone at this stage but here's some highlights with English commentary (feel like I've seen the goal in about 30 different languages so far...): http://www.dailymoti...05-02-12_sport# Amazing to think that the first goal could possibly be almost completely overshadowed by the second. -
Well Villa have been almost exclusively miss to be fair. Their home record this season is the worst in the clubs history.
-
And instead of buying Papisse Cisse, would have bought Djibril, for 28 million.

He's gone on Demba Ba's strawberry syrup diet. Ba himself has cut down on the aforementioned syrup.

In general I've found the forums of the bigger teams to be a lot more level headed than the smaller sides. The massive exception to that rule being RAWK of course. -
I've also seen the phrase "hit and hope" thrown around a few times to describe Cisse's goal. Isn't that what all shots are? Hit the ball, hope it goes in...

So who actually thinks we will finish 4th?
TicTacWoe replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Oh the hilarity if Spurs do finish 4th and then lose the CL spot if Chelsea beat Bayern. Harry's face might sag into oblivion. -

Aye total fluke, Cisse was going for an air shot but accidentally struck the ball with his foot. -

A compilation of this season would be as good as any campaign we've had since the Keegan days. -

There was a game last season, might have been Liverpool Arsenal towards the end of the season. Think it was 11 minutes in that one in fact. -

Was there's really that much time taken with Tiote and whatnot? -

Fucks sake Spurs show some respect for Muamba and let Bolton score again you bunch of twats. EDIT 1-3 now bollocks -
Apart from some of the nonsensical defending of the booing of Anton Ferdinand they seem to have responded quite sensibly.

Who said they'd prefer a mid table struggle to a cup win? No one from what I can see. What I said was that I'd prefer the season we are currently enjoying and not win the league cup to a mediocre season+league cup win. The FA cup and so on is a different story. -
Great defender, Arsenal let him go far too soon as he proved at Portsmouth. At his best was better than Rio and JT as far as I'm concerned.

I'd be delighted to win the league cup even though it obviously is micky mouse by comparison to the other competitions available. That said if we were offered the choice of a shite season finishing 15th but winning the League cup or the trophyless season we've just had I'd pick the latter. -
Well Nasri has more goals and far more assists in his career. I do think Ben Arfa has much more natural ability but there have been long periods at both Marseille and Lyon when he was out of form (which was partially due to falling out with managers/players).
-
He blows hot and cold. But that can be said about Ben Arfa for most of his career too to be fair.
-
Bent is injured isn't he?

I don't think thr England team is half as bad as some make out, it's just that they don't play as a team. The squad is made up of Man U, Man City, Chelsea and Spurs players largely so they can't be that bad surely. There's too many slow players though and Woy needs to play at least a few people with a bit of pace, I'm thinking Richards or Walker at RB, Walcott if he's fit and Young for starters.

Someone already said it but the eleventh would be Swindon wouldn't it?
