You've heard how articulate some of these rioters are on the media I assume? Even if there were more job vacancies than unemployment, which isn't true, what employer would want to touch these kids? They're not fit for shovelling shit. Your personal anecdotes of how hard-working you are are irrelevant in all this. Completely agree. I know several students in London who have failed to find any work whatsoever this summer despite their best efforts and they're from so called well educated backgrounds. In any case, being unemployed doesn't mean you have to go rioting/looting. It's far more to do with upbringing/cultural issues than employment.

Nope you're right. All profiles on google+ have to be public now. However, you can hide everything except your name and gender I believe whereas with Facebook no matter how much privacy you set up, your name and profile picture are still available so its much of a muchness.
