What other managers are these then? Previous chelsea managers have to work with who their given. Harry has said he doesnt have the final say over who comes and goes. David moyes just doesnt buy...... There are loads....Its all down to money men, scouts and agents these days. So 2 examples equates to most eh? Moyes has the final say when they (rarely) sign someone so that's utter bollocks. Redknapp said he would have final say in all transfers when he took the Spurs job, maybe that changed in the meantime but have heard nothing about it.

Absolute nonsense. At least most managers in the PL do have the final say, if not complete control over such things. I think everyone on here knows Barton is a nasty individual, but we need him for his footballing ability. Pardew is both a cunt and a crap manager. He's done OK so far but as far as I'm concerned he could leave tomorrow to be replaced by an inanimate carbon rod and nothing would change.

Poll on Arsenal-Mania site. At 5pm 47% said "time for Wenger to go", 40% said no, 13% unsure. Not to question fans of a club who know the ins and outs better than me, but it seems mental that only 2 fifths support wenger. Do they think all their past success was down to Rioch signing Bergkamp? It's ridiculous isn't it? He's obviously a stubborn annoying old git but he's their most successful manager of all time and considering the money Chelsea/City/ManU/Liverpool spend they've done incredibly well. Someone told me that only ourselves and someone like Blackburn have a lower net spend than Arsenal over the last 5 years. The whole thing reminds me of the latter stages of Bobby's time here. Be careful what you wish for Arsenal fans, great managers don't grow on trees.

Bendtner is on a reported 60K+ salary at Arsenal, this is why it has taken him so long to move as although there are plenty of teams interested (sporting Lisbon, Dortmund, Stoke have all supposedly made bids) none of them will meet his wage demands. We are the last team who are going to pay him the money he wants. Personally I rate Bendtner despite the fact many think he's shite, but he isn't coming here unless we completely change the current transfer policy.
