If I remember correctly West Ham stupidly agreed on some bonkers clause in his contract that he could leave on a free if they were relegated. Can't remember if that was ever verified though. We've pulled off some amazing deals lately in Ba, Tiote, Cabaye, Santon etc not to mention the 35 million for Carroll.

he's very good but I wouldn't put him on the same level as Les until he can prove he isn't a one season wonder (not that I think he is). He's certainly the best all round striker we've had since Shearer though.

mmm when was the last time Man U had such a weak central mid? Their best player there is a 37 year old Giggs vs Tiote and Cabaye. The OG was absolute quality Aye and missing Vidic too. I think it was more to do with the fact that they usually rape teams after defeats like they had against Blackburn last week that it was surprising.

Liked Arsenal when they had the invincibles era team when they could mask the negative aspects with unbelievable football. They still play good stuff from time to time but it's so sporadic that I usually just think of Wenger's excuses when I think of them now. Probably the least annoying London team though. Can't abide Spurs or their fans.
