My only real recolection of the guy was from Lost Boys tbh, though as I recall my cousin had a thing for him and a massive poster of him on her bedroom wall which I defaced with a drawn on mustache and a pair of glasses, got a right bollocking for that. I know that was the point, duh.

I think you're never too old to learn something new or study to change your career path. I feel sorry for folk who are stuck in a rut with their lives and want more out of it but never make the effort to change their status quo. That said tho I do understand it can be harder for some than other for financial reasons or child care issues, but I think if you really want to do it you will always find a way, Most of the time I think people are too lazy to study at night classes or work evenings/nights to supplement their income. Dedication always pays off in the end and when you look at how long it takes to achieve the qualification and how long you'rr reap the benefits its well worth the risk. The worst that can happen is you fail and go back to the way things were, you've still lost nothing but you know you've tried, Its better than a lot of 'what if's'. Good luck to you. Although I do love the fact that I can go home at the end of the day and leave it all behind me, for how long is another thing cos I'm looking at post grad courses to advance my career. Aristotle said " the root to education is bitter, but the fruit from it is sweet" (or something like that! )

Met quite a few at a pre match bevvy wit paddy, but honestly couldn't name everyone cos its hard to match up screen names with faces and obviously I know a few from school. But on the whole I was impressed and they seemed very lovely people. Its hard to gauge from comments on here as theres a lot of bravado flying around, ha ha

He was at footy all day, ( he plays 2 matches on a sunday, yawn) then I went over and he cooked me a lovely meal, I got a really nice card and a single red rose. He then promptly began to snore. But it was lovely and I wouldn't have changed it.
