Failing that, Low Newton-by-the-Sea is a nice little place south of Seahouses, see if you can get booked at The Joiners Arms? https://joiners-arms.com/ Also, The Ship Inn is a must visit, right on Low Newton beach, which is also a lovely spot.

Bamburgh is just up the road from Seahouses, much nicer, big fuck-off castle, best beach in Britain, and has a few hotels you can pick from. The Victoria isn’t bad, certainly for a couple of nights. While you’re there, do the boat trip to the Farnes.

We could round them all up and put them in the empty holiday parks, but switch off the wifi? We’d need to have some way of letting others know they’re meant to stay on the park, so maybe something like a striped pyjama uniform? Since we’re mainly talking about the older generation, it could be self-funding if we sold on any art, antiques, jewellery etc they own once they pass away- might as well take any gold fillings they have too, once they’re dead of course.
