I’d second this- it’s a fantastic show, some really well-observed characters, and the best grumpy old cunt on TV. It’s classed as comedy but it’s so much more than just a comedy. It inevitably gets compared to the Royle Family as Craig Cash wrote for both, but I think this is far better.

Given his experience with Taxi queues I’d have thought Gemmill would handle rejection better than this.
