You’d imagine that, for the first game of the season, putting a bod on each turnstile to inform/assist anyone having trouble with this wouldn’t have been too much trouble. Contact the club, tell them what happened, see what response you get. If they don’t know what the problems are, they can’t fix them- they may just point to the bit on the website, but at least you’ll have registered your complaint with them.
