  1. Any particular reason this song is on your mind (and wall) just now?
  2. Good on you for making a stand… … A STAND!!!!
  3. It’s pretty extraordinary that grown men have devoted so much time, with such risible results, to something they could have settled by going outside and asking a passing fan “ Do you care?”
  4. Tell us you wear adult nappies without telling us you wear adult nappies.
  5. We need a “Dulux” colour name, and an actual colour name tbh. Dulux- “ Home Baked Biscuit “ Actual- “ Shitewater”.
  6. So, technically, you haven’t shit the bed but you have shit the bedroom wall? Cock-eyed Mala would be proud.
  7. They’re still at it with the Atletic Bilbao (and Madrid) nonsense. https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/the-uncovered-curious-link-between-sunderland-afc-athletic-club-bilbao-atlético-de-madrid.1608918/ I’ll save you all the bother of clicking on, reading, and spitting your current beverage over the links provided by saying that their “historian” has written a date and name heavy bit, which just states that the shirts came from sunderland- no sources provided, no proof, nowt.
  8. I just hope wor Yasir makes all the caddies wear black and white stripes. They’d go fucking supernova in Mordor
  9. Whilst it’s a really decent looking kit, I’d like to see something of the shithousing spirit of this current team incorporated in to it, maybe a small “ Laters Lolz!” on the back for oppo players to read as we speed past them?
  10. 'Ducking hell' to disappear from Apple autocorrect https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-65823482 About time two, the ducking counts.
  11. But for now I put the credibility of the attributes in quarantine.
  12. Before you take that leap, you should have a look around.
  13. It’s a little known HISTORICAL FACT that The Posh were founded in 1633 by a travelling spoon salesman from sunderland called Peter Brough.
  14. Aye- we’d been out to eat at some posh French place the name of which I forget now, then came back to the hotel bar, which was pretty empty. A spotty youth took our drinks order, and said he’d have to ask the barman as “they’re no on the menu” The barman, who was obviously bored out his mind, gave us a thumbs up and sent the drinks over. I’m convinced he was giving us double measures, but we told the youth to just keep them coming. Wobbled up to bed several hours later with a cacklingly drunk Mrs. trying her best to be decorous and failing miserably
  15. It’s a common misconception that Lord of the Rings was inspired by WW1, the West Midlands and the Black Country, when, ackchewilly, Tolkien was a MLF, and did his basic training in Pennywell, which was similar to the trenches of the Somme. Obviously he was inspired to name one of his main characters after the Basque club founded by The Lads and District, The Misty Mountains are clearly Cleadon Hills, and Mount Doom is Penshaw Monument, and The Shire is a virtual map of Grindon. It’s still a bit of a mystery, though, where he got the inspiration for the sub-human Orcs…
