  1. 1. Spurs.......... 2.Keane sacked, Barry fry in 3.Penalty given at Old Trafford.Ferguson's head explodes in outrage.O'Leary takes over and does a Leeds to them. 4.Blyth Spartans take out big 4 in F.A. cup, only to lose to NUFC in final...I can dream. 5.Cheryl Cole to see the error of her ways, and become my beeatch.
  2. No, It reallydoes mean I can't be arsed with you, mate. You're a prick.
  3. This about sums it up and is why frankly I can't be bothered with these threads after a while. The impasse in this case results from three possible reasons: 1) Fop doesn't have the knowledge or intelligence to understand my point (re: the difference between the common cold and the flu). 2) I don't have the ability or time to explain myself well enough. 3) He's being deliberately obtuse and obstructive to disguise point 1) and trying to make out he's 'won' (i.e. he's being a dick). In reality it's probably a combination of all three like, either way what's the point? It does take me back to the old Leazes days mind. Also, what brass neck must Leazes have for criticizing me for insulting people? 1) Your point that there is a universal vaccine under development for flu? 2) Aye, I agree. 3) Nope, I'm just right and it irritates the hell out of you and manc-foplite. 1) So at this point I have to reiterate for the umpteenth time that not once did I talk about flu vaccinations, and if Fop thinks I did will he please direct me to the relevant post number. I realise that I may have confused you by saying that certain influenza viruses may rarely cause symptoms which are confused with the common cold, but I have done my best to clear this misunderstanding up for you. Etc etc. 2) I apologise for point 2, I'm used to a more erudite audience. 3) If it makes you happy to think you're right, you keep on believing that. 1) I know you clearly didn't know one was being developed or you wouldn't have used it as part of your example. 2) Ah... the comforting warmth of elitism. 3) I don't mind, I do find the reaction funny though. Oh ffs I never used it as an example. Prove I did by citing me or giving a post number. Now, sorry, I really can't be arsed any more if you don't produce that quote. So as Alex says, if I don't post any more am I 'running away' and if I do post am I 'obsessed'? Either way you win right, I'm glad it makes you happy. For the 3rd time: Like I said your example and clearly you weren't aware of a universal vaccine being under development for flu. I've explained this though, several times! Influenza viruses sometimes cause cause symptoms that are misdiagnosed as the common cold is all I stated (this is true), not once do I talk about influenza vaccination (which would have almost no benefit for the common cold), cite me a post where I do please? Or are you really too ignorant to know the difference between the two conditions? Don't worry, a lot of people are, hence people claiming they are off sick with the 'flu when they really mean the cold. No that's what you are saying now. What you said originally (as we can see above) is something quite different. Well that's your interpretation of it, but you're simply wrong. If you take that quote in its proper context it is obvious I only ever discussed vaccination against the common cold being a virtual impossibility, not the flu. Sorry you are simply unable to understand this, I think we've reached an impasse now due to your lack of knowledge in the area of immunology and immunization. That's cos he's really a Kitchen Inspector/Salad tosser
  4. Good job I'm a Pacifist really, cheeky twat.Where was the last pro kitchen you inspected then? Have you any idea what you're on about .I would rather eat my own shit than eat a kebab. Whilst the outer 2-3 cms of 'meat'on a kebab is cooked, the inner is raw, with the core often still frozen. As you are clearly the next Gordon Ramsay, I don't need to explain in how many ways the above is so wrong. Do I? Salad any day. btw fillet is overpriced and over-rated. Sirloin, or rump Keswick. I wouldn't rather have eaten my own , but it might have made things more appetising, I bow to your superior knowledge in poo-eating. So that would be badly prepared/cooked kebab then? But..... surely that never happens if salad is never badly prepared/stored? ... Keswick eh, which fine culinary establishment was that then. The shit eating jibes i'll just put down to childishness
  5. What indeed? Fop > Expert in field > Everyone else. That is the accepted hierarchy on here. Fop will now confirm this by quoting my post and saying "You're so right ". I shall bow to his Michelin Stars.... or is that Nectar Points, never could tell
  6. Ah, good old Audrey. Who was that guy that had the soles of his boots sponsored by a paper?

  8. Here we go......... so long as the prepared salad is stored in a cool container, it's fine. Hot food must be stored above 64C for safety, served at 75C if reheated. the crucial factor in all is the length of time any foods are stored. Lettuce, washed and stored correctly, will usually keep for 2-3 days. and yes, most vans that bother with fresh salad, in my experience, can and do prepare it correctly. It ain't brain surgery ffs.
  9. Can't see there ever being the number of top fighters around at same time again. Ali, Foreman,Frazier,Norton, etc. AHH, nostalgia.
  10. He wasn't Ali's greatest fan mind, was he? Feckin Brute tho
  11. As a former chef, The risk of infection from correctly prepared salad is negligible. White bread per se is not unhealthy, it's usually what it's eaten with that bumps up the calories. To satisfy the stringent "experienced in subject" criteria demanded by certain fellows on this very thread, I can supply a full C.V. with references from my catering days. cue 4 day argument over merits of white bread.( is that racist btw, shouldn't it be "bleached flour bread") In the take away van they probably just use their hands to toss it. So Long as they've washed em', fine. Anyway, tossed salad in a takeaway van- you must live in Jesmond

  13. Seeing the state of his current circumstances, compared to Ali, you can sort of understand his grudge. I agree tho, he'd probably be a lot happier if he let it go. Tell you what tho- great to see some real boxing wasn't it?
  14. Shame Frazier can't let it go though. From his own point of view more than anything else. I think the bitterness he still has towards Ali is only harming himself. True. His (Frazier)brother said the same. tbf Ali never apologised to him in person. The things he said went beyond the reasonable bounds .
  15. Old Joe didn't do himself any favours either. Revelled in Ali's current state, claiming responsibilty for it early in the programme. And Paccheco,Ali's ring doc, was just a prick.
  16. Anyone see the documentary on More4 last night? Detailed the history of the bad blood between Ali & Frazier, unusually tho presented Ali as the bad guy. Really enjoyed it, tho was saddened to see how frazier has been basically left out in the cold.
