But you've got to keep in prespective that money is tight, and the accounts show it is more understandble why he has been reluctant to splash much money.

Maybe bring Kinnear into it in terms of offering him a 2 year contract showing a lack of ambition & credibility to the role. But it needs to be clear & precise, and bringing everyone into could potentially look like 'we're just shit team and cant be arsed anymore'. The players havent done well, but the regime is accountable aswell for the poor season aswell because we failed to get any cover for both full back positions, and a centre midfielder; what Keegan was asking for. Its not easy obviously, but surley the 5.5m spent on Xisco could have raked in a full-back or two? Obviously if we had a better manager I think we'd make better use of the current players anyway, but again, the board are the ones who want him long term - he's just a sympton, not the cause.

I was thinking exactly along those lines myself Again you are expecting people to organise themselves and remembering to bring an armband. Turning your back on the game, requires no extra thought than just being there. Do it for the first 15 minutes only if need be but it is simple to organise and effective. Everyone wear a black armband at the game? Not a bad idea like. The only thing about turning you back during the game is a lot of people would see it as anger towards the players (not that they've done brilliant or owt) when anything done needs to be blatently obvious its about the ownership of the club. But still a possibility if organized well.

As some have said, a boycott of sorts if Premiership safety is secured before the end is a must imo. I totally & fully understand the idea of, for once, getting a good youth set-up at the club, bringing more young players to the club and un-earthing future gems of football. I get it, and it could potentially be brilliant planning. But the point is, what kind of enviroment are you bringing these players into? While the manager is bieng led down the garden path, and the first team is fighting relegation with a negative atmosphere around the club, what enviroment are these players in while bieng nurtured along, and developed? Not a very good one, and the chances are that talented young players would be wasted coming to such a mess of an enviroment that nufc is, therefor the 'system' is redundant in a way.

Milner's more of a forward through the centre, he will be a really good player in the future imo, he'll get a decent mount of games for Villa, and I excpect him to come back a batter player.

Really is so amazing that Nobby is back, so chuffed. Dream come true. Devestated when he was sold, brilliant video by Pedro. Like Ive said, will he be as good as in 99 for example? Dunno, but he is still one of the best RW's in the Prem and a massive improvement on us. If he appears at the Fulham game, break ur vocal cords for me when welcoming him! Cant be at the game. Also like mentioned, what a superb proffesional & role-model, always grateful forhis teammates good work. Never throws a tantrum. That proffesionalism was blatantly abused by SBR, who knew while taking subbing him all the time, that Nobby was never going to cause a stir after it. Top lad, top player. Just discussing who do we play in midfield and saying his name as a proper option makes me grin. NOBBY SOLANO!

Good pace, decent finisher, but not the best technically.

While its unbelievable that we havent bought even just one striker yet, I dont think its as bad as it could have been as we have stand-ins like Milner, N'Zogbia and Dyer who could all do a decent job off the front man imo. (Granted Dyer aint gonna add much goals though.)

I'm desparate to have Emre & Parker playing regurlaly, obviously, but also Bowyer too. That would mean the 5 man midfield I suppose, with N'Zogbia & Dyer thw wide men, but I really think the traditional 442 is the best formation. I'd be tempted to play Bowyer on the right vs Arsenal, even though its clearly not his best position, and its something Ive hated when its happened. But, like I said especially given his pre-season form, I'd still be temped to try it vs Arsenal. With N'Zogbia on the left, and Dyer/Milner in the free-role behind Shearer.

Exactly, he goes in a huff and gives them crap marks for a match when players dont give him an interview. Imagine if that was Kluivert in a black & white shirt when Shearer didnt put a foot in for Depo's 2nd goal, he'd be going bonkers with headlines of how uncomitted Kluivert.

The thing is though, Bowyers performance on Saturday was typical of most his performances last season. Chuffed he's still here... I'd rather sell rid of Jenas & Butt before him.
