I’ve learned more about the actual tactics being played out in front of me on the screen from Emma Hayes than maybe any other pundit ever. That’s from about two/three England games I’ve seen her do. We did a big upgrade at the Verne Citadel on top of Portland when it was changed from a Cat B prison into an immigration detention centre in 2014. Not travelled, european adventures make lots of league games politically tricky on the home front We’re two hours on the train from Waterloo. So tend to do lots of London games. Was our club Christmas piss up yesterday and had lunch with neighbours today so that’s kept the now semi-permanent Mrs PL happy…got Chelsea, Luton and the mackems lined up so am not going without…
