Ginger farmers from the Cotswolds ✅
-
I listened to all that and I like JOB but just telling that cunt to sell his land for solar panels so he can pay his IHT partly proves the point some farmers are legitimately making and also proves JOB doesn’t understand farmers or the countryside. I remember shepherds distraught at the thought of their flocks being slaughtered for nothing during foot and mouth. I still don’t properly understand that but the depth of feeling was profound. Yes there are ocean going fuckin wankers leading and contributing to this debate but I remember it coming down to a very stark question at the time of F & M; what is the countryside actually for, and who should control its future?.. that’s what this is essentially about. JOB can go fuck himself with that glib bullshit reply. PS around 51% of farmers voted to leave the EU . It was stronger in some areas than others, in Scotland & NI a majority of farmers voted remain. The perception is very different but that’s life I suppose…

I can’t put that on my own social media. My friends in the most intensively farmed area of Scotland where I grew up would very likely stab me to death in the village pub next time I’m up
-
“Hello police? I’d like to report a murder. Victoria Derbyshire had just stabbed Jeremy Clarkson to death in central London” ☺️

I go on call on Monday nights, we go right through to 8am the following Monday morning… which for me was this morning….so I’ve drank more tonight than I should have for a Monday after 7 days abstinence

Not Guinness tonight just bitter for ewerk

Between the ages of 18-22 Weller wrote some lyrics which, for his age, class and education, are fucking astounding 👍

Scotland winning 0-1 in Warsaw at the break, Doak with another assist for McGinn, hit the post and bar too. That’s not to say Poland haven’t threatened but 42 year old geriatric jambo (ie the same clan as @Toonpack) Craig Gordon has been great…. and Lewandovski isn’t playing, obvs

Yeah mate if Wobble is up the Cluny or somewhere I’d definitely recommend, his band are great, the drummer is phenomenal 👍

Weeeelllll… I was too young for the pistols but PIL were another early obsession. Thing about them is Lydon was dragged along by some utterly brilliant musicians in PIL and I think most of what they’ve done really stands up to this day. Am toying with seeing them in May because this will probably be the last chance to see them play these songs. Individually their bassist Jah Wobble is just about my favourite live act. His gigs are an astounding sonic experience….this is a pretty straight take on my favourite film soundtrack, it’s just fuckin brilliant…

I think the Jam (and the Specials) were the first two bands that I properly became obsessed with as a kid. I’ve gone in and out with Weller over the years, wasn’t fussed about seeing him earlier this year but the missus said she’d like to go and it was only 10 mins down the road so we did and it turned out to be a really good night. All the Farage/Weller dads were there and I hope they enjoyed the Palestinian flag he had draped over his amp. Say what you want about his music but his principles have remained intact to a much larger extent than any of his peers. That fuckin prick Lydon supported Brexit ffs..

Our family home in Scotland was haunted by a woman my father could remember from his childhood. I have told this story on here before so I’ll leave that that unless prompted
-
I’ve heard that too Kev. Were you at the Mayfair gig?
-
Son of a diplomat v son of a milkman… that imho was pure jealousy . WMIHP is easily as good as anything the jam did but Joe knew he wasn’t from a council estate and all his good words & works wouldn’t change that and I think it genuinely fucked with him 👍
-
Were you at this @spongebob toonpants?? Anyone else?
-
Yeah I think that last comment was from a highly motivated individual with narrow point of view…she’d fit in well here 😆
-
Not tricky to work that one out Dougie
-
Did they say it in commentary?… I draw the line at that cunt Dixon so it’s on mute

World Cup semi final, Turin 1990 . England v West Germany ☺️

Reading some stuff on Elon’s cunt app.. the usual suspects appear to be suggesting that Starmer in his days as a human rights lawyer may have been in some way responsible for the father of the perpetrator of the atrocity in Southport this summer actually being in the country. Who knows what that would mean for public order after the carry on in the summer. Farage is behind all this, I think when Labour pissed the election he decided he’d have to destroy them using profoundly undemocratic means
