Very likely won’t mean a lot to many on here but the music journo Neil Kulkarni has died. He was also one of the main contributors to the Chart Music pod, much beloved of @spongebob toonpants and myself . He was from Coventry and wrote this when Terry Hall died. RIP Neil https://thequietus.com/articles/32486-terry-hall-obituary-the-specials

How much game time do you think he’ll get? 🤔 They appear to play in east Africa rather than Saudi

That’s true but it’s a little bit weird we were linked with Kimmich before the Tripper thing started… likely nothing but if we’re in the market for a midfielder….

Lots of big accounts on X blaming either Brexit or net zero.. all agenda driven bollocks. Tata wanted to close Port Talbot and the rest of British Steel and this government has bunged them 500 mill to do so. No significant steel making capability now in the country that used to build ships for the whole world. That’s tragic not to mention dangerous from a manufacturing security point of view. What if China/Russia/some other set of cunts try to blockade imports? 😒

So we’ve signed up for net zero after we’ve left the EU. It’s nothing to do with Brexit. If you’re against losing 3k jobs (who isn’t?) fair enough but Farage and his pre Brexit bullshit have little to do with it. His comments are irrelevant. It’s on Tata and the present government as far as I can make out. Of course the jumped up little fascist is now making capital from it but that’s bollocks too. Tata have apparently run the fuckin place into the ground deliberately…

Tata are closing the blast furnaces and removing them then building allegedly greener electric arc furnaces to replace them . Unions have put forward a proposal to keep one open (and the associated jobs) whilst the other one is being sorted. The uk government have given Tata £500 mill to achieve this. Tata obviously rejected the union proposal. Regardless of Brexit removing various EU trade protections over steel production that are in place across the whole bloc am not sure if Tata’s motivations and intentions are anything at all to do with whether the UK is in the EU or not. Is net zero an EU aspiration or did a Tory government decide unilaterally that it was a good idea?…

Summary: “Man City are in a lot of trouble if they’re found guilty on the current charges” This is where it all began, plainly Ashley voted in favour of it, he obviously thought there was no point investing anyway -
Has someone started poisoning these fuckers?

What Barton, a man who gives pigshit an even worse reputation, fails to realise is that Eni Aluko is a qualified and fairly litigious lawyer “While playing for England during Women's Euro 2005, Aluko took her A levels at Cadbury College, Birmingham.[124] She subsequently went to study law at Brunel University, where she graduated with a first class degree in 2008.[125] In July 2009 it was announced that Aluko would spend the 2009–10 US off-season studying for the New York bar exam before taking a similar exam in England, her aim being to have an entertainment law practice in both England and the United States.[4] While completing an accelerated Legal Practice Course at the University of Law,[126]Aluko had traineeships at Lee & Thompson LLP and Onside Law.[127] She announced her intention to "step back" from her legal career in March 2015 to focus on playing professional football.[128] In 2016 The Football Association informed Aluko that her paid consultancy role with a sports agencybreached their rules and was under investigation by the Association's integrity unit.[129] Aluko highlighted that the investigation by the Football Association was retaliatory because it was raised at the same time as her request for the racism of the England coach Mark Sampson to be investigated by the Football Association.[130]She began working as an associate consultant for Slaughter and May, before resigning when she moved to Italy with Juventus.[126]”
