Roberts to boycott Kick It Out t-shirt at Anfield/Racism in football
PaddockLad replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
Not what the bloke on 5live said and I think Rio's tweet came with a safety wink too!...Roberts has categorically denied he's anything to do with it...cant really see it being anyone else but the man who doesn't mind other men of colour being called a choc ice....dont think he's thought any of this through...didnt need google for any of that.... -
Did he do weekend back shift so you could get to St James CT? Shocking carry on altogether this like.....earlier today a gang of vigilante dyslexics attacked Jimmy Somerville....

They interviewed some bloke from the association of black lawyers on 5live earlier and he said discussions are underway about forming a union for black players only...he also said football is "institutionally racist"....looks like Rio is involved in the talks....is Ferdinand guilty of attacking a game that has been phenomenally good to/for him? -
Its mind boggling how any fucker knows if they've got a ticket for Brugge or not seeing as they've not been issued yet....

Iniesta equalised for Barca with a shot that Forster could've threw his cap on and stopped....instead he finished diving for it about three minutes after it hit the back of the net...we truly dodged a bullet with this fucker....

Agreed, but looking at the guidelines theyre supposed to work to its a dubious decison to say the least. Thats what youve got to judge it on and it a grey area to say the least. The physical aspect of the game is becoming less and less...I never played (shitey Sunday league 11 a side) when you could charge the golaie or challenges from behind were allowed, so you can see the progression.....the better defenders know how to ease attackers off the ball, Colo does it a lot, when he can...Taylor and Willo don't, they dive straight in, see Willo yesterday for the free kick they scored from.- 756 replies

PaddockLad replied to The Fish's topic in Newcastle Forum
The thing is some of us older ones were brought up to think that the likes of that was merely mis-timed, I'm definetly one of them. The studs up off the ground thing make it reckless in the guidelines, not excessive. As I said, Perch certainly used excessive force in winning the ball cleanly, if he'd missed timed that it was amabulance job. So it would appear that if you win the ball cleanly but completley total the player in the process thats ok, even though the force used in that area of the pitch were excessive in Perch's case. Guidelines are fucked up iyam.- 756 replies

When Perch fairly won the ball in the second half he was using excessive force too mind....the only difference is he got the ball i.e. it was timed perfectly. Perhaps it could have been deemed "reckless" as Tiote went straight into the challenge on Fletcher without pausing for thought if you like. Its still only a yellow. You could say the whole thing was careless and reckless, it still doesnt add up to a red. I think looking at the guidelines its a yellow.- 756 replies

Heres the FA guidance for refs: Careless, reckless, using excessive force “Careless” means that the player has shown a lack of attention or consideration when making a challenge or that he acted without precaution. • No further disciplinary sanction is needed if a foul is judged to be careless “Reckless” means that the player has acted with complete disregard to the danger to, or consequences for, his opponent. • A player who plays in a reckless manner must be cautioned “Using excessive force” means that the player has far exceeded the necessary use of force and is in danger of injuring his opponent. • A player who uses excessive force must be sent off So which one of these does Tiote's challenge fall under?.....- 756 replies

PaddockLad replied to The Fish's topic in Newcastle Forum
This is what I said at the match yesterday...he'd let everything go for both sides up till that point then bang, straight red for what was to all intents and purposes was a mistimed tackle. The picture plainly shows his studs were up, so he's been sent off for that and being Cheick Tiote. So he's now sadly in Cattatwat territory.- 756 replies

Thats the poorest I've seen Johnson...he always looked good for smogs & citeh....not sure if he's been found out a bit or he's been dragged down to the tramps normal level of shiteness. No wonder Trappatoni doesnt pick McLean he's one of these players who looks to be a very good athelete which masks his utter uselessness with a football at his feet. I think 6 Scudettos and a European cup qualifies him as a good judge here, better than any fuckin mackem anyway..- 756 replies

Steve Nichol is a cunt. If we get beat tomorrow and one their players says that what Steven Taylor is quoted as saying in todays mirror motivated them then that will make him one too...whether its true that Adam Johnson would only make our reserves or not you don't say it to a reporter the day before the game...- 756 replies

The 9-1 thing is beyond sad. there's not a mag alive that can remember it though so it hurts about as much as losing a 12th cousin 4 times removed to the bubonic plague in 1373. On the other hand we can remember twatting you 5-1 very clearly indeed- 756 replies

Naah..the Dutch were just fuckin cowards during the war and (in general) wouldnt stand up to the fritz. Ruud Krol's grandfather Kuqui was one of the very few Dutch resistance heroes. Compared with the Dutch, the French were brave as Lions. Ajax's rise to prominence in the 60s/early 70s was on the back of money earned during the war by Dutch building contractors working for the Hun. The Dutch had a very poor war tbh.

85% of the 80k jews in Amsterdam were arrested by Dutch policemen and transported to concentration camps on Dutch trains driven by Dutch drivers with Dutch guards. In Denmark the locals decided to stick up for the Jews and only 5% were murdered. Now who thinks the Dutch are terrible, horrible collaborating cunts?...anyone?..
