But two years at Asda qualifies you for fuck all but sweeping the fuckin storeroom CT. Not everyone is going to graduate from that to being a management trainee. It keeps people in low paid, service sector jobs. "Growth" is the current buzzword but if we're almost completley service sector based our economy wont grow at all because you can only have so many supermarkets etc. Thats the fuckin trouble. But its not the case in Germany. Read what Parky says. Not a tory thing either, labour did fuck all for their core voting constituency whilst in power and some of them even turned to the fuckin bnp..
-
Dont you think theyres a miriad of things out there like that nowdays?....fact is skilled skilled workers in the traditional "trades" are either mostly Polish or at least my age. The "apprenticeships" nowadays are are all in Tesco's or MacDonalds. Low paid, service sector shit. People want to work, but they want it to be worth their while. They dont want a bunch of management/corporate bigwigs using the credit crunch/recession/lack of growth as an excuse to pay people next to fuck all.
-
It basically means theyre not paying lads with say a wife 2 kids and a 70k mortgage from the north east a living wage. I bet you the managing director calls himself a "wealth creator" though, the fuckin lying cunt.
-
Thats because they'll be paying next to fuck all.
-
Anyone signed up with the club?.....think am right in saying you'll get a ticket included. Which will cut the allocation even further to the rest of us
-
I tell you one thing its contributed to...the near 1 million young people not working. Most semi skilled/un skilled work done by youngsters in years gone by in my game is now done (brillaintly, tbf) by Polish lads and lasses.

I've always enjoyed the ambience of the saloon bar of The Black Garter of an evening...am sure your spouses will appreciate it too CT... -
We shouldve took the 7mill min the summer, but that would of course mean we'd need a replacement, which seemed to be tricky this summer. Not as tricky as trying to find one in fuckin January mind, but there you go...

Shame, donald makes a good point. Not booked yet but still going. Taking the car, 60 quid through the tunnel Thursday lunchtime, back on the Friday. Not decided whether to stay in Bruges or Brussels yet.

Have ever heard us sing a song called "Harry Roberts"?.... 1966, part of what is usually termed "the good old days"...he and his mate laid in wait for 3 coppers and killed them all stone dead. He's still in nick to this day and, one way or another, is likely to die inside. As for the rest of your post, thats a fuckin can of worms and a half! Coppers getting shot dead is a rare thing even now, but it does happen. As has been said nothing wouldve saved the lass in Leeds or any other incidents such as this in the last 30 years. Generally arming the police sends a message to the people mad enough to feel the need to carry a firearm that this is "war", and then its only a short period of time till we truly become the 51st state of the USA.

Yeah I suppose you need 11+ 5 (6?) subs, then bodies available if theres injuries in training etc....its fair to say that Shane and Sammi will struggle to make the bench in Portugal, unless theres a disaster in training. I see Tavernier wasnt involved last night and was on the bench on Monday...does he play v Maritimo and we end up risking an injury to the only defender named on the bench v Everton, meaning, I presume, he's the only fit defender available in the squad outside of the 4 who started on Monday?...bare bones springs to mind here.
-
Let's get this right...he's on bail, under suspicion of the murder of one man by walking into a bar and shooting him, then walking his alleged victim's father's house and shooting him dead too. So he goes on the run, lures a couple of officers to where he's hiding out and basically executes them too. Then, knowing that the firearms team will basically shoot him on sight, he turns himself in, to spend the rest of his life as a Billy big bollocks on various prison wings. Am not in favour of the death penalty generally but this morning it seems a good idea for theis fucker.
-
True, didnt do a full pre season due to injury.
-
Those who played tonight aren't going to Madeira...maybe thats what pissed Shane off?....along with playing left back...maybe he sees himself as a midfielder?... Adam Campbell scored again, 4 in 4 now. Am going to stick my neck out a tiny bit and say he'll play for the first team this season.

Andy/Idioteque I was sat with two Evertonians last night and they said that the two disallowed goals would overshadow the real issue for efc at the moment, Tim Howard. He shouldve saved the first one thats for sure, but theyve always said hes crap. They rolled out some of his his fuck ups eg v Chelsea in the cup final and v Liverpool last season, as well as him making mistakes in every game this season so far apparently. What are your thoughts?.... -

I thought Ajax Andy and Idieoteque both lived in the North East?.....good on the latter if he keeps his ST going and attends Monday night games that are shown on tv if thats the case. If not, and he lives on Merseyside, am wondering what he's doing on here in the first place?...free country like, but still...strange... -

Belgium is a piece of fuckin piss to get to, Birmingham took 5000 to Bruges last season ffs. That proves fuck all. EFC are like us, a good away following. Although with your "glorious past" you should have a good following. Who'd bother to follow a side thats won nowt for over 40 years? -

We wouldnt have accpeted the full allocation for last night, not with it being Monday night game on the box. When the club get a choice they always accpet the lower allocation. If we'd have failed to sell out our allocation there wouldve been a few stragglers sitting in the upper Bullens. And was Idioteque actually there himself or did he find something better to do with his time like the easier option of sitting at home/going to the pub to watch the game?
