Why have you got your boss on your facebook?....or am I behind the times with workplace relationships?.....can she conceiveably sack you?...
-
Don't listen to anything post 98ish me....."its all shite" blah blah blah Was working out how much new stuff i'd bought in the last 12 months......Jack Black, Bombay Bicycle Club (think that was released last year, but saw them at Glasto 10 and was impressed...was only a 5er too) and the Vaccines. Went to see Squeeze supported by Paul Heaton last week... Gigs coming up... Orbital James supported by Echo and the Bunnymen Simple Minds

Would not want to be a fan of Chelsea or Man City....if you're having a run like we're having, where is there for the supporter to go?....they liked Di Matteo, he got sacked, Benitez looks hopeless....how the fuck can they then whinge, moan and greet about the man who has financed the sides who have won everything going in the last decade

Damn you amazon!! Strolled into town to the local HMV with a view to purchasing the Hacienda 30 complilation....assistant had never heard of it, but located tucked away at the back, £12...so I thought bet its cheaper on amazon, so gets in, looks it up and its £11-98! However, scrolling down to the "people who viewed this...." section has now left me short of at least £30.... this: is from this: http://www.amazon.co...54365876&sr=1-4

Plainly a lot of you think the old truism "never talk about religion or politics" is a bit old fashioned nowadays.... -
Find the corner one, theyre every 400mm after that.....usually! is it metal stud or wooden stud?.....if its metal hanging a tv off them can cause the borads to sag and break.....sometimes

Have we?......see my last post to LBT. Its how you use the money provided. And NUFC showed last season that in the last 18 months theyve been better at it than any other club in the premiership. Its why we finsished 5th. Wonder how much the likes of Kone,Maloney and Di Santo are on?... Good post, it would be interesting to break it all down at his other clubs.
-
All of that, ALL of it, has nothing to do with Pardew. Thats all down to Carr,Llambias and Ashley. Its called undervalued players acheieveing more than their transfer fees would suggest they could. Which is the complete essence of NUFC in 2012. And who was the coach when their transfer fees shot up in value?... to be fair to you Pardew may have had some input there perhaps? Thats why he's got time to sort this out, last season's performances.
-
It would be interesting to compare budgets though. Am really not sure what that would show tbh. Not to mention Wigan being chronically inconsistent. Why cant Martinez get them playing beuatiful carpet football every week?....sack the cunt he's useless.
-
Look at Stevie's post, Lambert is going to get more money to spend on his own players at Villa than Pardew is going to imposed on him from Ashley's transfer "comittee". You can tell a decent football side, well done.It appears you haven't got a clue about anything else to do with the game.
-
Does Ashley strike you as the type of man to pay up the contract of an opposing teams manager, as well as huge compensation to his club? Oh look! its not actually football manager out there, its real people and real money. Has it fuckin sunk in yet?....
-
again, who beleives Pardew the yes man? all this bullshit seems to have come as a bit of surprise to you...doesnt take away 5th place last season though does it?.....
-
He's not bullshitting about Europe, suspensions and injuries though. Only you cant accept it. He's not covered himself in glory either, but last season bought him a bit of time to turn things round whether you like it or not. There really is nothing you can do about it and you've not come anywhere near to proving that he's terminally shite and should be sacked.
-
You're the one taking Pardew's comments in the press at face value old son, not me. Who's the one who beleives bullshit again?
-
Straight in there on that one cocknose, well done...funny you of all people should pick up on it....wonder why?....
-
You take literaly everything that comes out of everyone's mouth? To borrow a phrase "what a fuckin mug"...So Pardew was sucking up to his boss via the press, distasteful to me certainly, but what does it fuckin matter in the big picture? And it proves nothing in the context of this....or you beleive that Pardew is sat there negotiating transfer fees with Lille?...Llambias is on record saying that they couldnt agree a fee for Debuchy. Douglas is available for nothing in the summer. Am not saying I agree with the way this summer was handled but it was completley and utterly out of Pardew's hands and to claim otherwise shows a basic inability to understand how these things work. Who'd have thought you can't understand something? not like you etc etc...
-
Do you really think Pardew thinks he doesnt need to improve certain posistions? Its out of his hands, the deals couldnt be done this summer after the players required had been identified by the "team". The part of the "team" which is supposed to do the deals failed. Nowt to do with Pardew that. He's responsible for helping identify potential targets, but doesnt get involved in the finacial side of things, very few coaches do nowadays.
-
Great read Gene, might go over the head of one or two on here though..
-
Pardew is the right man for the job because of his 5th place finish last season has bought him a bit of time. He's getting the benefit of the doubt from most supporters and almost certainly more than that level of support from the man who's just given him an 8 year contract. That won't last long though, certainly not from the supporters if things continue to go wrong. He's only the right man for the job if he can turn things round in other words, and we can't tell if he will or won't. Theres better managers out there than Pardew, yes. Does that answer your question better?....... Sam Allardyce always seems to do well at clubs in a bit of bother. Any takers?....Tony Pulis knows how to scrap for points, but theyre both employed. As are Laudrup at Swansea, Jol at Fulham and Martinez at Wigan, Lambert at Villa, Clarke is a novice manager at WBA, dodgy call that one etc etc...would Ashley pay up any of their contracts mid season and a huge lump of compo to their clubs?... Alan Curbishley did a great job at Charlton and when they thought they could do better they ended up in divison 3. Mark Hughes produces rock hard teams when he's allowed a shout at who actually comes in on the playing staff. Anyone else?..Glen Hoddle?.....Alex McLeish?...all without a job...Terry Venables?..he produced some cracking teams to watch, LBT would love him, but I think he turned Ashley down around the time Kinnear was appointed. Whose appointment, incidentally, lead to the last time a mananger was sacked for losing 4 in a row at NUFC, and beleive it or not that was Chrissy Hughton....who'd have thunk it? ..... Craig Levein's probably waiting for a call, but Robbie Di Matteo is on gardening leave after his Chelsea affair turned sour. Experienced hands in the championship?...Warnock or Holloway for example? an old boy to get the crowd on side?...Lee Clark?..foreign managers?.... I tell you who always impressed me, Hector Cuper, brilliant defensive coach. He'd sort Willo out, probably get him an England cap or two.2 Champions League finals with Valencia. Now at Ordispur in Turkey. Klaus Toppmoller, brilliant at Leverkusen, not in work but likely to be pissed as we speak. Koemans at Feyenoord, is Klinsmann still enjoying the California sunshine?... Feel free to add to the list, there are probably dozens you could argue are better coaches than Pardew and you could also argue that they could all do a better job than he's doing at the moment.
-
The point he's the best man for Mike Ashley. If you're asking me who'd do a better job I'd rather have Pep Guardiola as coach and Johan Cruyff as director of football
-
Your forgetting how Shane terrorised them, isnt he CT?....the day they twatted us 4 nowt...
-
Cheers CT, weve got an aircraft carrier to build before that so its 2 year hence but still... Portmouth will close, Cameron is putting pressure on BAE not to hand Salmond a propaganda coup before the independance vote...despite the 2 yards in Scotland being 100ish years old and Pompey being 12
-
All that is irrelevent when you're owned by Mike Ashley.
-
hmmm.....are these easy to come by?....
-
Office based now CT... took a huge payrise for less work and not a lot more responsbilty...but then this at weekend http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/industry/defence/9700890/Axe-looms-over-BAE-shipyards.html
