  1. I think after January's splurge we might need to be a tad more realistic....there again, suppose it depends on if and then who we sell...
  2. squad?...he looks a better player than Gouffran...
  3. tbh, I wasnt at my most serious...he's perfectly entitled to do that, the fat cunt.
  4. Aye fair enough. Although if that was Ashley I'd be fuckin fuming
  5. Anyone who purchased the Newcastle United Ultimate Record book may be interested to know that the author prepared an update of the 2011/12 season stats in the same format to slip inside your existing copy. This is still available free of charge as a downloadable PDF file by emailing info@newcastleultimaterecord.com
  6. 10 years of premier league income, selling players for (in some cases) huge profits (Valencia,Palacios,Cattatwat,Baines etc etc..) yet something I saw the other day says theyre in the bottom 3 wage-wise in the division....Whelan is trousering fuckin millions
  7. And a bump of the "Mike Ashley football genius" thread?...
  8. By the final game I imagine they'll be no more than 3 teams who can still go down.... that'll be those still on 38 points or less... mackems, Norwich and Wigan. Ourselves and Southampton to win this weekend....perhaps... actually Norwich can conceiveably beat WBA at home, leaving a crapshoot between the tramps and Wigan on the final day with tramps at Champions League scrapping Spurs . Villa could well be safe by then just by Arsenal beating Wigan on Tuesday (shirley?) so they may not have a lot to play for

  10. I know you were, but a matchday at old trafford would be similar to the scene I described at Anfield, which actually happened. The local support at both clubs has been suipplanted and diluted by tourists and day trippers. Price of success. In Liverpool's case, fairly historic. Manu exploit a tragedy. C'est la vie....
  11. Graham Coxon, just "a cunt". Theres a Festival like this up the road from us...I "know" some people who attend regularly with their kids, Ayo and Hubert... http://www.campbestival.net/line-up actually.... Toots and the Maytals, Richard Hawley, Musical Youth...whats not to like
  12. I was asking directions to a back street social club near Anfield a few years back; asked 3 punters in red and white, all in the Sandon boozer outside Anfield, for directions: punter 1: "aint from raan ere am i geez?...strike a light, lambuf walk etc etc...." punter 2: "Sure am not from rynde here, ULSTER STILL SAYS NO, F*** THE P***!!!" punter 3: "hugdy-gurdy,hassen-fassen, dried herring butty thankyouplease I'm from Oslo" A fair cross section of LFC's support I'd say
  13. Its not if you're a virgin customer by the looks of it....we seem to be the poor relations in this, not being offered a slice of the cake...ive had various deals on espn so its not cost a lot on vrgin tbh. I'll miss espn classic or is espn continuing without the 1715 KK belter?...either way, its ta-ra..
  14. How much is your erm "package" Davide?
  15. fuck me, theyre going out on a limb there aren't they?...Moyes?...who'd have thunk it?...
  16. Moyes contract runs out on the 30th June as well Fuck all to say apart from "shouldnt you start looking for someone to start July 1st?"...
  17. bbc Talks are still ongoing between Man Utd and Everton over release of David Moyes; Possible announcement may slip to Friday
  18. Luke will no doubt file this misleading pile of bollocks under "not me guv, someone else wrote the headline!" http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united/10046444/Fabricio-Coloccini-admits-there-were-divisions-in-Newcastle-squad-as-David-Ginola-blasts-French-contingent.html
  19. No, and potentially yes from sonatine's link that CT, right in front of you! Thing is, you'll need one of these too if you want to watch it on tv at home, which will cost money over and above your £10 broadband and your phone line rental. Or you can go mobile, for which ot would appear you also need to be on BT broadband. If you keep your sky dish (or braodband service) it'll be around £13 a month. http://www.bt.com/sport/3-ways-to-watch-bt-sport.html
  20. Do they pay for a phoneline rental + a broadband subscription?...hardly free...
  21. If he's been up all night satisfying the desires of Tyneside's laydeeze he'll be needing his sleep...
  22. BT bought out ESPN's contract with the PL. So they then will give their customers access to live Premier League games for nothing? They said £13 a month on the radio this morning for mostly 1245 games on a Saturday.
