Cole and Fowler couldn't get a look in... Sheringham and Shearer were canny good but the English talent up front in the mid to late 90s was unreal compared with today. Owen burst on the scene in 97-98 and basically ended Fowlers career at club and international level.

England players who have scored in all 4 divisions and for the national side?... 1. Ricky Lambert any more?...

Moyes here displaying the sort of form that made him a complete shoe-in for the manu job...the premier league fixture computer is a cheat http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23710359

Theres dozens of one cap wonders though, it not like it has never happened before...Kevin Davies was picked by Cappello etc. I imagine had Andy Carroll been fit he'd have had Lambert's place in the squad. Happy now petal?

Likely to be the new Carragher from what I've heard...

She is partly Scottish though, and partly German. No wonder her family are fucked up.

Is the chocolate beer "dessert"?

But its only the most physically visible sign of a fuckin basket case of a football club. The clubs best player cant be arsed, its a metephor for the way the clubs run. As I said Keegan sent Hooper home, a fuckin goalie wasnt allowed to take the liberties Ben Arfa is being allowed to get away with ffs.

Is it an insult not to be able to tell the difference between them?...thought the fish was the one who had given up Are they similar on here, or should I just pay more attention?..

Keegan sent Mike Hooper home. 'Nuff said.

"Criticism"

Hes getting shit because hes fat as far as I can make out. If he was at "fighting weight" in pre season,am sure we'd all be pinning our hopes on him. But no, at the club that everyone loves to mock possibly our only salvation is showing the same slovenly professional attitude as his employers.

Topically, Scotland were the only team to beat them over 90mins in Argentina 78, the hosts needed another 30 mins to do them in the final...tbf to the cloggies, Cruyff's missus didnt let him go and the final was played in possibly the most partizan atmosphere of any final, with the host country being ruled by a military junta and controlled by a brutal armed militia who intimidated the Dutch team from the word go: http://www.onthisfootballday.com/football-history/june-25-the-shame-of-argentina-78.php edit: the ref was allegedly swapped because the original ref was from Israel, and it was thought he may be biased towards the Dutch; Ajax, jews etc etc..

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23548412 And this lunchtime a whole nation will be keying themselves up for a fall... This is a strange one, am pretty sure none of the players in either squad will have played v "the old enemy" before, Gerrard and Cole were still battling to get into their club's first 11's at the time. Quite how motivated the likes of Danny Wellbeck will be just to beat "them" is open to question, 3 days before the league season starts.

Ashley is incapable of making two decent decisons in a row. He may not be alone in that, but thinking the remedy to last season was to appoint a fuckin dinosaur as DoF ranks among the very worst he's made. Second only to choosing Denis Wise over Keegan. In spite of a brief period of samity when he appeared to be getting the hang of this football thing,Kinnear's appointment shoes he's actually learnt the square root of fuck all.

Mike Ashley Football Genius and Pardew for England on the minus side of the ledger though. It does blot your copybook quite badly.

Fan boys. Too much youtube and European football on satellite TV. It warps their perception. One of them turned round and windmilled me at at the first Brighton game when I remarked close on full time that HBA had been fuckin abysmal He's like a sacred cow to some young uns, they think we cant see his talent. We see his talent, but we do dwell on his overall contribution too. "Pards doesnt play him in the right areas"??!! look at what he did to Blackburn and Bolton, and what he quite plainly couldnt be arsed to do against Brighton. He doesn't need an area when he's up for it, only a bit of guidance which Pardew seemed to have sussed towards the end of the 2011/2012 season and for which he got a lot of praise. Think that was just temporary though. He's a mood player, when he's up for it he's unplayable. Quite often though when he's up for it he tries to do too much on his own, hangs on to it too long (i.e. after he's gone past the first man) and is then eventually closed down by 2 or 3 defenders. More than one NUFC manager has said that Shola was "unplayable on his day" too though. Now go figure why Marseille were willing to let him go. His conditioning is a different side of the same coin. Follow the clues and you'll find in all likelyhood a very complex character, one with too many flaws to become a truly top player.

Went to see us play Benfica, went looking for where the action was in Lisbon, and frankly you're there This is what I think of when I think of Lisbon, you're quite close by, Fatima(?) Square: Walk up to the castle if you can, its a canny hike, just dont be a sap and get the tram.

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
PaddockLad replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
Are you suggesting that Pardew has major say in who comes in?.... I dont think, if on the 1st September we're deemed to have had a poor "indow", that any of the blame can be put on Pardew's shoulders. As far as I can make out he has nothing to do with transfers. Possibly a once over of a youtube clip. The sort of shit Keegan walked over.- 10610 replies
