Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
PaddockLad replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
So another striker wasn't a priority after selling Ba? Pardew is culpable in all this, but there's a host of other factors you ignore. Pardew is a symptom of the way the club is run; he's cheap and fairly ineffective. But he's by no the fuckin cause.- 10610 replies

tbh we were a Cisse leg break in February away from a record low points total so where you get that the squad was good enough from am fucked if o know. Pardews shite, but leaving him with one striker then sigining "any fucker who's available and cheap" was fuckin criminal. It was a worse dereliction than anything Pardew did iyam.- 10610 replies

Did you used to watch the whole build up, cameras on the buses, saint and greavsie/motson "cup final mastermind" thing?.....tbh, that wasn't giving a shit about the cup final, that was more "OH MY GOD LIVE FOOTBALL ON THE TELLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!" FA cup ties between teams in the same division would always get more fans than the equivalent league game in the same season. That stopped around 88/89 apparently. So the slow death of the FA cup started before skytv, for those of you who are bored by football and wish to read more on this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Soccernomics-Simon-Kuper/dp/1458771105

By no means a classic, but Wigan at least making a decent fist of it....brilliant save with his big toe by Wigan's goalie

The home game was fuckin torture....but we kept plugging away and got the 3 points. I'd take the same tomorrow....we were on a terrible run at that time as well,,,,

I think after January's splurge we might need to be a tad more realistic....there again, suppose it depends on if and then who we sell...
-
squad?...he looks a better player than Gouffran...

tbh, I wasnt at my most serious...he's perfectly entitled to do that, the fat cunt.

Aye fair enough. Although if that was Ashley I'd be fuckin fuming

Anyone who purchased the Newcastle United Ultimate Record book may be interested to know that the author prepared an update of the 2011/12 season stats in the same format to slip inside your existing copy. This is still available free of charge as a downloadable PDF file by emailing info@newcastleultimaterecord.com

10 years of premier league income, selling players for (in some cases) huge profits (Valencia,Palacios,Cattatwat,Baines etc etc..) yet something I saw the other day says theyre in the bottom 3 wage-wise in the division....Whelan is trousering fuckin millions

And a bump of the "Mike Ashley football genius" thread?...

By the final game I imagine they'll be no more than 3 teams who can still go down.... that'll be those still on 38 points or less... mackems, Norwich and Wigan. Ourselves and Southampton to win this weekend....perhaps... actually Norwich can conceiveably beat WBA at home, leaving a crapshoot between the tramps and Wigan on the final day with tramps at Champions League scrapping Spurs . Villa could well be safe by then just by Arsenal beating Wigan on Tuesday (shirley?) so they may not have a lot to play for

I know you were, but a matchday at old trafford would be similar to the scene I described at Anfield, which actually happened. The local support at both clubs has been suipplanted and diluted by tourists and day trippers. Price of success. In Liverpool's case, fairly historic. Manu exploit a tragedy. C'est la vie....

I was asking directions to a back street social club near Anfield a few years back; asked 3 punters in red and white, all in the Sandon boozer outside Anfield, for directions: punter 1: "aint from raan ere am i geez?...strike a light, lambuf walk etc etc...." punter 2: "Sure am not from rynde here, ULSTER STILL SAYS NO, F*** THE P***!!!" punter 3: "hugdy-gurdy,hassen-fassen, dried herring butty thankyouplease I'm from Oslo" A fair cross section of LFC's support I'd say
