Why didnt they just sack the cunt in June and appoint Kinnear then if they felt that strongly? I imagine Llambias being there prevented that, he's fucked now though. If we get relegated then I imagine that will just prolong Ashleys tenure at the club. If he wants to protect his investment he needs to bring a couple of strikers in at least. Hes a silly fucker if hes learned nowt from last season. He strikes me as mean and petty in business; see what he did to JJB sports. He doesnt want to spend until Cabayes sold for a price hes happy with. It could all be too late by then though, the stupid fuckin cunt...

Think you're right, also thing that process has already started...from the weekend interview with the dof: Before the season started, we had sat down and agreed the squad was big enough, and strong enough, to finish in the top half of the table. But we are working together not plotting against each other.

Only after the club had accepted an offer for the player from LFC mind. If the offer is accepted, its does rather send a big signal to the player himself.

Has the mini version been released in the UK yet?... It apparently keeps the dr dre speakers and the fabby camera but am not sure what the downside of it is?..

Season Ticket Renewal/Apathy - £25 Half Season tickets
PaddockLad replied to Tooj's topic in Newcastle Forum
People were a lot keener on staying away 20/30 years ago. Possibly a stronger sense and tradition of dissent in society in general caused that. Now we just let ourselves be sedueced by comparitively cheap tickets and turn up every other week to be fucked over yet again. -
Think we got a point at OT first game of that season ourselves Good comments Tom, momentum is crucial at any club at any level

Burnley beat manu as I remember....Burnley still went down...

Aye, all fair enough. What if Arsenal put a bid in though?..it does rather change the equation where we're concerned. If a bid comes in and is accepted, what is Krul supposed to do?..sit where he is?..not many players would do that. Arsenal have been here before, the press force poor old Wenger into spending. The press decided they needed defenders when they got spanked by manu in August the season before last and he signed Mertesecker and Sandros on deadline day. I think they need an upgrade on the Polish lad if they want to close the gap, whether Wenger feels that way is a different story, but Krul is miles better than Szczesny.

I think we can identify the actual second that Moyes decided to jettison old Rene here: 'David, with all due respect, you’ve done a fantastic job in the Premier League with Everton but do you realise you’re going from a yacht to a cruise ship?’ Patronising cloggie cunt I've no doubt he has real ability, but it looks like he's got a classic case of "Dutch self-regarding syndrome" as well..

So Arsenal aren't looking for a goalie then?...
-
This has got "Andy Carrol 2" written all over it iyam...am waiting for the press conference before the Villa game "The bid from Arsenal came too late, we've got Vukic fit though, so its like a new signing", all the while waiting for the call confirming that Geoff Thomas is joining on loan for the rest of the season...

Tyson had let himself go by the time Buster Douglas put him on his arse in 1990.His first wife (and her mother) had their claws into him by then. Thats what he should have been doing, and probably was from 85-88.

Shane Ferguson tearing apart international opposition
PaddockLad replied to Christmas Tree 's topic in Newcastle Forum
Good point re Routledge. Hes never going to be Luis Figo but was playing the best we'd seen from him just as we sold him. Laudrup has got a lot out of him at Swansea too. Obertan couldnt even male our bench yesterday. Tells its own story that like. -

That's ok, opinions/shminions, as I said he wouldn't be a manager per se, hed just be a coach. He's rated as a coach of players by people who have forgotten more about football than you or me will ever know. Thing is, you've got to look at who's available and who'd take it, and who'd want to work for Ashley. I want Johan Cruyff as coach tbh, but am just trying to be sensible about this. Hoddle is possibly mad enough to consider it, and if Eileen Drewery told him it would be a good move then am sure he'd be up for it -

I've read it more than once tbh, players and journos. I've never met him, or been coached by him, but you obviously have so I'll bow to your superior knowledge -

Well what were people fuckin expecting? Its the same players with the same coach, who's everso glad to be in the job but is ultimately just a mealy mouthed puppet for the cunt of an owner. -

He's recognised as a brilliant coach, and that's all Pardew does, coach and pick the team. This set up may suit him. Not that he'd take it if offered anyway. Theres a lot of people say hes a loss to the game. Worth a gamble I'd say. What have we got to lose?..Hoddle or JFK is a no brainer for me. Ditto Poyet, whos a fuckin ego mainiac. Hoddles older and may have learned a but of humility. -

If that's what you took from what I said then fair enough. I did say that the players share some of the blame for last season, but don't let whats actually in the post stop you from thinking that I said something else. For me, in this season, 2013/14, the appointment of Kinnear changes the dynamic at the club to such an extent that this one decision from Ashley overrides pretty much everything else that's happened since the end of last season. Is that clearer for you, Mr McGoo? Pardew's been undermined, if Ashley felt that strongly he should've just sacked him in June. I certainly wouldn't have argued with the logic of doing it, I'd have just been fearful about who would be next. And lets look at who its likely to be shall we?...whatever way you look at it, this abysmal summer and what may happen this season is down to Ashley. -

Whats wrong with Hoddle like? Brilliant coach, poor man manager, that's what they say. He may have changed in the last decade though. I'd give him a go in front of Poyet. -

Why? That's like saying its the cart's fault for the horse & cart being late. It is all, everything, the fuckin whole sorry fuckin mess, down to Ashley. Picking holes in Pardews methods and tactics is missing the point by a million fuckin miles. And appointing Kinnear to bring players in for him this summer does precisely what you say it doesn't, it absolves Pardew of all blame completely. That's if Ashley thinks its a good idea, and hes not done it on purpose just to get rid of Pardew. Last season the players, Pardew,Lambias and Ashley all carry the can for a fuckin poor season. The appointment of Kinnear is a game changer where finger pointing is concerned though. -

It was the same as last season...in the first half HBA and Sissoko were making decent breaks with no support or movement ahead of them, They cant do it alone though, they need options once they've carried the ball into the final third. We don't have the players with enough clever movement, or players who are able to spot a teammate making decent break and are willing to support it. Second half changes were reasonable, they came for a draw and would have won if Nolan hadn't missed a sitter..again..he did the same at Upton Park last season -
