  1. Month in the Ukraine?....dont mind if I fuckin do judging by this...woop woop! http://noisey.vice.com/en_uk/noisey-show/kazantip-raving-on-the-black-sea
  2. I think it was modern football in general, which as you say included the Glazers winning titles and European cups etc If manu are knocked off their perch in the next few years it'll be because bacon face has retired to concentrate on his drinking, not because of the Glazers...
  3. Aye the old fracking's harmless.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LBjSXWQRV8 And a minor earthquake around where they were drilling around Blackpool?... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-15550458 Tbf, theres nowt scientifically proven as far as I know...but there is a cause for concern..
  4. A few on here have said that. Think it was different for Wimbledon because of the MK Dons thing. The local council got all WFC's trophies back when that tosser with the hair took them to Milton Keynes and claim them for the new club. Lucky he wasnt shot dead. Those fuckers who set up FCMU(?) though...happy enough to lord it over the rest of us for a decade and a half until some steward told them they had to sit down during games so they set their own club up?
  5. We wouldnt be worth 2-300 million if we were in what used be called divi 4 though. Thats why I pointed out that a few may like that and accept the reduced status of the club.
  6. Its a supporters trust, so I think basically the receivers did a deal with the main creditor (Chanderai?) and its now a charity.
  7. Pompey fans own their club.... I think a fair minority would accept reduced status in exchange for having control. Dont think the majority of the fanbase would mind after 20 years of at least 36k in the stadium, sky tv and the odd brush with the champions league.
  8. Always fancied a record shop...maybe somewhere chintzy like Alnmouth..
  9. I think theyre mostly an amalgamation of Steve Wraith's mates and some from the trust. Wraith wrote an open letter to Mark Jensen asking him to come on board, presumably thinking that the Mag editor would lend it all some credibilty, despite apprently a strong mutual antiipathy. Sounds like a recipe for the same bickering which doomed the trust iyam, but there you go. We'll see.
  10. Naa that was a league game in 2002, first time we played at St marys. Big Tunisian fucker halved him, said fucker had played at 3 world cups for his country..Dyer did go to the WC, but only came off the bench a couple of times. He was a fit as Beckham, who started every game. Erikson was more of a fan boy then a manager.
  11. Absoloutely. Leaders, good and bad, emerge. You never know, they may even open a pub if CT gets involved..
  12. Well no, I understand what he means completely. These thing always start like this and can go one of several ways (see the NUST for example). Its a lot of the same people, Steve Hastie (Gene quoted an article by him in another thread) was a player in the NUST as well. Some people need to get up and do something whether its likely to acheive something or not. There may be something cohererant to come out of the confusion, maybe not. Theyre having a go, fair play to them. For me, if they can get the away ticket allocations increased then it should be viewed as a success. I dont think Ashley will turn round and say "actually you lot are right, I'm a twat, heres the keys to sjp" and I'm sure they dont either.
  13. The game v Southampton at sjp, those two fuckin ripped the saints left back a new one...5 nowt I think?...
  14. Those goals at Leeds around 3-30ish....3-1 down at half time won 3-4...went to Arsenal the week after and Robert put us top of the league at Christmas
  15. If folks just accepted what they were being dished up we'd probably still have the iron curtain, and possibly dozens of other things throughout history wouldnt have changed either....the revolution in Romania started with one lad going "BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" at party organised love in for Ceaucesu. Thats all it took. Things have to start somewhere. Am not sure it will change anything, but its probably better than just whingeing on an internet forum.
  16. Did we actually agree a fee only for this fuckers agent to ask at that particular point for 5k or something a week more in wages?...
  17. Happy hols Davide, hope you get on ok with the little bins they have beside the shitters for you to put your used bog roll in
  18. Voltage categories, important to keep them segregated by at least 50mm mate. Power cable + signal + data= interference, overheating and possibly fire
  19. CT dangerously mixing cables of different voltages here.....is there a retained tender in Boldon?....
  20. Good point Fish, the games not played in a fuckin computer and you've got to take into account the squad make up and the nature of the manager. For me, theres not many sides outside the top 4/5 that have the squad and balancing players either side to play this system effectively. You can say you think HBA should play in behind a striker until you're blue in the face but its highly unlikely to happen here next season. Think you've got to be a bit more unselfish than HBA appears to be to be a success in that role. Can't say I've noted his range of passing into space for Cisse too much either. You've got to have a footballing brain, not saying he doesn't have one but he doesn't strike me as cerebal as a Beardsley,Bergkamp or Sheringham...the last of those 3 you'll note didn't have any pace and wasn't a dribbler either. He was one of the best practitioners of the art though. Tbh, there's more than one way to play it, Cantona was quite physical, Berbatov you'd barely notice during a lot of games. Thing is, Pardew is a defender by nature and I think he'd like us to play on the break more. Id leave him on the right and buy another flyer for the left, either side of Sissoko with Cisse ahead of them. Stick Cabaye and Tiote in behind them, with a back 4.
  21. I spoke to HBA's English agent last summer, ex pro, and he doesnt think he should play in behind the main striker either. Just saying.
