Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
PaddockLad replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
If he's saying he wants players in with the full knowledge that hes not getting them he may not be lying to us thats true. He's at least being "economical with the truth" because he wants to keep his job instead of having the balls to walk out. Am not sure how many of would work for somebody under those circumstances. Maybe Pardew likes us really and doesnt want to inflict Kinnear on us..- 10610 replies

Dont you come across mealy mouthed, piss weak managers in your line of work then?...theyre pretty common in my experiance; as long as theyre serving a purpose and not creating waves theyre safe. Stevie makes a valid point. Mike Ashley is a barrow boy made good with a reputation for the unconventional. Pardew is ideal for a man who point blank refuses to communicate with the supporters of NUFC. He got Mort & Llambias to do it in the past, now its all down to Pardew.- 10610 replies

Is Maldini the "official" captain of Glorie then? Or were they going "you go up, no, you go up" etc etc...

young players who you were sure were gonna make it.......but didnt.

Scotty was captain on merit when Keegan turned up as manager..thing is he was in division 2 at the time and hed filled in pretty well after the likes of Roeder, Jackson and Thorn left. The step up was too much for him. Not the first player thats happened to. I liked him anyway. -

Kevin Scott. Definetly not a wannabe gangsta. Good centre back, until he went to Spurs. We sold them all our best players in those days...... -
In that system CT, hes not playing as a winger. Winger is 442. The goal you're on about resulted in a break out from QPR's box where he ran down the right hand channel and received the scoring pass on the edge of the box. That cant be described as wing play. Hes a striker. Not a winger.

The Henry handball/Gallas goal was an equaliser wasnt it?...and Ireland went out in ET 2-1 on agg. If it had been disallowed, thers nowt to say France wouldnt have got another equaliser. But I dont think I'd think like that if I was Irish
-
So now you've got a striker who you've never seen play on the erm "wing"?...

Trapp's jacked... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24043331 "We leave this country with emotion because we understand the Irish supporters who have a well-deserved international reputation and they have our utmost respect." Plainly not enough respect for him to honour his contract which runs out next year though....expecty another Brian Kerr next...

Quick tip: wash your hair when you finish work My missus only washes hers every other day...she wears it up if shes not washed it. She does shower before work, but not when she gets in. Legal secretary.
-
Its fuckin irrelevent if the place you work is full of cum stained sweaties anyway
-
-
Try working in construction or heavy engineering and not showering when you finish work. And once you're clean then, are you really going to have another shower less than 12 hours later before clocking on for another shift in what is quite often a shit tip?..

the long term effect of mike ashley on newcastle united
PaddockLad replied to diogenes's topic in Newcastle Forum
Am not entirely sure, but I think Rob Lee took the loot, probably the last one to do so. It was against a Spanish team, sort of mid-table la liga side, cant remember who they were though...as you say, that crowds on the disappointing side. He got less than Kenny Wharton, who although being a stalwart of the 80s, wasnt fit to tie Rob Lee's boots ability wise. The charity thing may well have a bearing on this. And at least two all time great players in the already glamorous opposition helps. -

Wonder if Damsacus had a chat with Russia before accepting this err "proposal"? My moneys on the yanks making all the right diplomatic noises on this Russian offer then still taking out Syria's chemical weapons by air strikes. Theres no fuckin way the yanks will accept a stitch up like this.
