  1. Ex mackem malingerer Danny Dichio has just appeared as a studio pundit on my stream. Think I'll go back to the incomprehensible Serbian stream I had on earlier.

  3. From .com: WHUFC: The Hammers have injury doubts over Stewart Downing, Diafra Sakho, Alex Song and Enner Valencia. Winston Reid is suspended. Thats basically all their better players. If none of them play is it hopelessly optimistic to suggest we might nick this by the odd goal in three?...
  4. Even more difficult to get a drink near the ground...we're still banned from the working mens club and the nearest pub http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/17/17000/Duke_of_Edinburgh/Upton_Park is apparently now closed. The other pub on Green Street (the Queens) was the scene of a recent murder so I may be tempted to steer clear of that one too...
  5. Errrr..... http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/tim-krul-could-miss-month-8187689?
  6. Game changer? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united/11257795/Newcastle-and-Rangers-will-not-be-able-to-play-in-Europe-together-next-season-because-of-Mike-Ashley.html
  7. l honestly wouldn't care if Carroll scores on Saturday and celebrates.

Mrs PLs Christmas this year is going to be black Friday tastic http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CYR759G/ref=amb_link_184395067_1?ie=UTF8&nav_sdd=aps&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=05YV718Q59DTTPYATHR5&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=560173467&pf_rd_i=468294 She's got an old kindle hd which won't boot up, anyone know where I can get it sorted?...it's got black death screen, won't do nowt...
  11. Good column by Sid Lowe, mostly on Moyes first game with Real Sociedad at La Coruna... http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/nov/24/david-moyes-real-sociedad-la-liga-sid-lowe
  12. Is this "the truth that dare not speak its name" then? The human race is a hopeless bunch of fuck ups, forever destined to be in thrall to the basest of behaviour? Or is it more accurate to say we've evolved to where we are now in spite of and not because of this?...
  13. Chez and Toonpack seem to be suggesting that Hitler and Stalin just couldn't help themselves because "it's just the way of things"?
  14. But when our ancestors were off out murdering several different minorities to grab their land we had all the power anyway, we were the greatest empire the world had seen. That was nt ancient in built shit, that was just a desire for power and wealth. Agree that a reaction to hard times is often a lurch to the right (winter of discontent, rise of 30s facism after the great crash) but it's nothing in built in us naturally iyam, it's just another bunch of capitalist cunts wanting more power and money and scaring the crap out of the easily lead in order to get it.
  15. Is Chez suggesting that in fact being prejudiced against a group different to ourselves is a trait which in modern times has been deliberately "unlearned"? by well meaning folks, and the rise of ukip is just some others reverting/giving in to some sort of ancient in built bio-chemical defensive mechanism?
  16. Yeah saints are looking in a very favourable position, away to villa tonight is very winnable for them. All they need to do is beat theteam's you'd think they have a chance of beating, results against the chelseas and man cities done matter a great deal for them.
  17. So people are voting for ukip because of primeval evolutionary forces?
  18. "Perfect storm" as a wise man once commented..
  19. True, but for years we couldn't even manage to successfully sign young players and make them into first teamers.
  20. She maybe jumping the gun a bit there like, but I read her every week and ignoring her history with us she's a pretty fair commentator on NUFC as we sit here in 2014 iyam. As I say she's premature with her praise but there are signs that the youth policy may be baring fruit.
