  1. Is Pardew safe till Christmas then? Because if Ashley doesn't act now it'll cost him 20+ million (?) to get players in January that will keep us in the division and a new manager. That doesn't make sense.
  2. Thing is, Salmons largely won anyway. Politics is about compromise a lot of the time and the compromise here appears to be he can have everything he wants but he's not being allowed to tear up the Union Jack. Fair do's Eck, now sod off and get on with running your kingdom.
  3. Soldiers have no say in the wars they fight. Deeply unpleasant from the telegraph.
  4. He told us all in rather more diplomatic terms to fuck off in Khakiv last year. Charmless jumped up prick.
  5. rooted to his seat, like a shop dummy. He can't survive next week iyam. But it is Ashley were talking about...
  6. Pardews being annihilated. Someones txt me saying Ashleys here is that right?
  7. Legal secretary Mrs PL says its a referral fee which should be on your contract with the estate agent you used. If you didnt get a contract to sign with your estate agent you should dispute it. She'll have a malibu & coke and mines is a pint of IPA
  8. That Brocks an awful man for jizzing in the humous iirc...
  9. Fish you need to discover the joys of the sainsburys £3 meal deal
  10. That goes for some of his players too, see Rob Elliots comments to a punter last season.
  11. Excusing his next abysmal cup tie team selection two weeks before the game sack the cunt
  12. It was only that price when you added on the bill for taking the Michael Jackson statue away.
  13. Is CSD actually Glen Hoddle in real life?
  14. Theres dozens of things that appeal about Scottish independance. However, I cant help thinking that the corporate "masters of the universe" are lying in wait to give a new nation an almighty slap. Theres spin and half truths, bluster and bullshit on both sides. But to a large extent its not the politicians that the electorate need to worry (too much) about.
  15. The likely outcome of a yes vote is not much difference tbh.....until EU member Scotland suddenly has a non EU member state on its southern border....England is following the rest of Europe in lurching to the right, and once Farage is finished annhilating Cameron and the Tories for "losing the union" he'll then turn the argument round so England gets its referendum on EU membership and suddenly we live in very, very different countries.
  16. Questions for JJ and topcat: 1 in the event of a yes vote, if various corporates carry out their threat and up sticks and move south, say with the loss of 5000 Scottish jobs, will it all be worth it? 2 if its yes, do you vote SNP at the first Scottish general election, and have Alex Salmon as Idi Amin's successor?
  17. In general, its the under 45s, I.T. literate, more likely to get "information" from the web v over 50s, by nature cautious and thrifty, culturally and emotionally more likely to be tied to the idea of the UK. Oh and try to be a bit more patronising the next time you post in this thread, the porridge wogs love that sort of thing
  18. "Are they HF, are they HF in disguise?......"
  19. Blatter: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29109481 Just it say "I fuckin told you lot this would happen"
  20. The pound is down on the money markets, and the share price of Scottish based firms who have already stated their opposition to independance like standard life is also down. This may make a no vote more likely, the don't knows will play it safe iyam.
  21. Ftao CT: the scoreboard was at the gallowgate end. No need to thank me, glad I could help
  22. Fair enough. When he was bottling challenges at home v the mackems last season he didnt seem to love us very much. Wouldn't properly criticise him for that v anyone else tbh, but we should expect proper comittment against them. He barely played after that tbh, which was Pardew cutting his nose off to spite his face, but the outpouring of man love for Ben arfa now hes gone has masked some pretty basic failings tbh.
  23. I agree tbh. In the big scheme of things he achieved very little for us bar a few nice goals. We've been utter shite in the past and have players from those periods who will be held in higher esteem than he will be, Quinn and Kelly spring to mind...
  24. He was offered it and turned it down. Not being a total mug, he realised that his brand of chequebook management wouldn't exactly flourish under Ashleys regime.
