  4. That's the thing, the nats are now holding Cameron to the same standards the mo camp held Salmon: "ANSWER THE QUESTION!!"
  5. The force is strong in him
  6. Its negative because its all intent and no content. What powers?
  7. did he? What are the various new powers being transferred to holyrood then? If Salmon wasn't to be trusted the same applies to Cameron, both telling people what they want to hear.

we lost our shape meant we couldnt do what we practiced in training all week meant we couldn't get one over the line caused the players to lose their concentration caused a hostile environment started the game off on the wrong foot meant we couldn't play our strongest team had the groundsmen working late last night meant we had a few injuries meant there was a lack of electricity about the game meant we had a day's less rest means our squad isn't big enough caused a language barrier between the players meant they had an energy level above us caused Cisse to stray offside distracted us from we couldnt get up field quick enough we'll have to make do with listening to Adrian Chiles we lost there's not much I can do about that it's out of my hands it's up to the players now we lost our momentum we couldnt make any of the signings we wanted to
  12. How about "I'm not a selfish bastard and dont wish to set my fellow UK citizens adrift due to a freak of geographical/political good fortune"?

Am not having an argument, am trying to get the jist of some sort of inferred difference. People willing and motivated to commit shocking acts like this live among us now, its not a new thing, regardless of inspiration or method.

    Isis

You both seem to be suggesting that something like this hasn't happened in the UK yet?

Am I missing something here, or am I just being a pedant? Its already happened here Ken, as was pointed out to your opposite bookend of fuckwittery this morning.
  16. Someone at work has just told me that its been reported on radio 2 that an exit poll somewhere or other has come out at 65% in favour of indeoendance
  17. I agree, and I think the yes campaign has huge merit in lots of ways. The corporates will snuff out a young democracy in this case though. I've got an English brother and sister and a 78 year old English mother all getting a vote (brother is the only yesser, fuckin Stalinist ) to go with the house I own in the village where I was brought up so there's a bit riding on it for me. As I've said, don't let Salmon tear up the union jack, give him the rest though and hope it leads to a sort of "united states of the UK" where all major decisions are mostly made locally and most taxes are collected locally. The US does this, can't see why we can't have full regionalisation in the future. The cats out the bag now like, well done salmon for that.
  18. ultimate fence sitter tbh, fuckin useless in most arguments, can see everyones view
  19. Ahh right, cheers Andrew, apologies to both.
  20. Democracy isn't perfect by a huge margin, but if you consider yourself civilised its the only game in town. If you don't want to play the door is at Dover. There's plenty coming in who will replace you
  21. Who's the kid from Pakistan then? No matter... In the last 25 years former totalitarian regimes and brutally sectarian countries all over the planet have granted the right to vote to all citizens. In the 19th century the US gave former slaves a vote too, yet some on here are suggesting that some folk north of the border aren't clever enough to vote the way you think they should?
  22. Do you get a vote where you're from Rayvin?
  23. What's the actual difference between 16 and 18? How much more are you likely to have gained in intelligence in two late teenage years? The issue has only come about because its seen as Salmon seeking to gain an advantage, which is of course correct. Fwiw, my sisters eldest was 18 a month ago and is voting no.
  24. yeah and its the likes of fuckin geniuses like you two who fully deserve a vote like
