  4. I'm 46 next month and that's the first time anyone I've voted for has won anything
  5. Hes shared a stage with some fuckin horrors but in a world where the queen shakes the hands of McGuiness and Adams.....point is he's spent his entire life campaigning about racism and human rights. For the media to accuse him of being an anti semite when they know the diametric opposite is true is fuckin abhorrent.
  6. Do you know of St Ann's in Poole? Am working on a refurb of the old bulding there atm (built in 1910, we were sent home at 0800 this morning as they've found that unbelievably a building of that age has asbestos ) and they spent six figure sums transferring some patients away to other facilities so we can carry out the work. This in turn has been brought to the attention of the local press because theres no beds for local folks and as you say people are being sent hundreds of miles away for treatment. Thing is, it overlooks the beach at Canford Cliffs/Sandbanks and is a prime target for local developers as the land is worth millions. We've also heard the works we're carrying out are only for a 5 year life span. Go figure
  7. My old man lived in Finchley, North London in the 60s...he says he'd go to Spurs or Arsenal every other week depending on who was at home.....unless manu were in town, then he'd go anywhere to watch Best, Law and most of all Charlton...from what he says as a footballer BC was 20 years ahead of his time at least.
  8. Monbiot making it clear what you're against with a vote for Corbyn... The City’s stranglehold makes Britain look like an oh-so-civilised mafia state http://gu.com/p/4c8xv?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Copy_to_clipboard
  9. 13:15 Cycling Live Tour of Britain - Stage 3 - Cockermouth to Floors Castle, Kelso (216km) (165min) British Eurosport...cheers Edit: Which I've just discovered I need a subscription for....what the absoloute fuck? Eurosport used to be the ugly bastard orphan of sports channels, available to all for banger racing and cross country skiing

  11. This has just popped up on my facebook, a lad I know has signed it.... https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/106477 Thing is, a few years back he was trying to get a Thai lady he'd married across there into this country but failed for some reason or other. That relationship apparently fizzled out, and he took up with another girl from Thailand, and this time he succeeded in getting her into the country. I met her once, didn't think much of it as the lad is more a friend of a friend. I Didn't see much of him for ages, but heard stories that she as refusing to get a job. Then he got home one day to find the house cleared out as she'd had to raise funds to cover online gambling debts, which was how she had been paying the rent instead of working. Then I went for a pint a few months later where our mutual friend informed me that the lad had gone to the doctors for something or other and the doc had taken a blood sample and ran a few tests. One came back positive, for HIV, which he had contracted via unprotected sex with the Thai furniture gambler. For the record, he would've signed a petition like this at any point for as long as I've known him, the best part of twenty years, around about the same time he started taking holidays in Thailand...

  14. A process of normal deduction would indicate that this is likely to be the case, although the extensive body art on the limbs may suggest its the straight edge wizard?...either way, the individual concerned is plainly a handsome man who cares not a jot for normal sartorial standards

  20. You might want to look at the way SBR was undermined by Shepherd in the previous 18 months before August 2004 before you start blaming the support....or you might want to continue to come across as an atrocious fuckin dickhead...I'll leave that up to you...
  21. According to something I read in the last couple of months, senior Whitehall mandarins reckon she's the candidate who is best equipped to lead the country intellectually, they were impressed with her when she was a cabinet minister and I've heard her myself wipe the floor with Theresa May when she was the shadow home secretary a couple of times. However she voted for austerity which is as far from being Labour as its possible to get. Theres also a nagging doubt that she wants power for powers sake, that as a career politician she sees her career fizzling out as her husband's has, and she'll do and say pretty much anything to get back into government.
  22. Errrr.. http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/comment/an-unelectable-extremist-who-hijacked-their-party-has-already-served-as-prime-minister--her-name-was-margaret-thatcher-10482479.html
