  1. The only thing you dont have to do is wipe their fuckin backsides....
  2. he joined Arsenal youth academy when he was eight years old. Released after one season, That's hardly a failure in the youth system...hundreds of kids are at academies at that age. And he's only had one decent season i.e. last season.
  3. Good to see a decent rearguard action...if we stay strong away from home like that all season it'll be a massive improvement.
  4. Who's the manu right back? Haidara had him on toast there..
  5. Half an arm the wrong side of the defender isn't offside like..if that had been at the other end I'd have been fuckin furious...if we'd finished it..
  6. I got a call from the Burnham campaign asking who I was voting for. Told them politely fuck off and mind their own business. They're rooting out "undesireables" right up to the end of polling (Sept 10) so even if you've voted they can still discard your card. That's ok for Tories taking the puss but Labour stalwarts like Ken loach and Mark Steele arent getting a vote in the first place. Am beginning to wonder why I'm bothering too.
  7. Don't think Anita is injured, Mitrovic is unlikely to start though due to being chronically unfit iyam. Draw at best, Rooney hasn't scored in 8 games so likely to add to the 11 he's scored against us in his career so far
  8. "True love is hard to find" one of the catchiest sample/hooks ever Well that's put a ridiculous grin on my face for the rest of the day cheers
  9. Aye its fantastic, going to see her in Bristol in Decmeber This has popped up on FB, only listened to two tracks as I've got to go to graft...
  10. Ask Ant. The club he really supports have been quoted 15 million. Allegedly.
  11. http://socialhub.courtneybarnett.com.au/
  12. We played Derby with Savage playing for them at sjp once on 28th December 2009, nowts each. No need to thank me
  13. Is there a quote for what the Tories would've done diffrently? New Labour has been thoroughly discredited for a host of failings which the present government are just continuing with. Dont mention Osbourne s bullshit gestures from the last parliament they've made no real difference whatsoever. Have the banks properly been split between investment and high street? This is what Corbyn is about, the diametric opposite of what has gone before. It may 've futile in a world where democracy has no real power compared with JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs but if the Labour party do fail after going down this road it will fail by being the Labour party, not just another bunch of fuckin Tories in thrall to the corporate world.
  14. McClarens already got his excuses in early though "I'll need 3 windows to sort things". Sitting there hoping for 3/4 of a new team this August is a recipe for disappointment iyam.
  15. He did great on loan there a couple of seasons back, scored in the champions league?? If you're a footballer sometimes its as simple as being wanted by a club. At least he knows the club, hope he's as sure about the economic situation...
  16. There's no doubt in the early 21st century United Kingdom you need to be more of a PR man than conviction politician to be PM.I can live with that, but it looks like all the best policy presenters Labour have think that austerity is ok. Tbh, I have a fair bit of respect for Burnham and Cooper, they've done good work on a range of issues. But they've seemingly been brainwashed by the media too. What do they aim to do if they somehow get into government? The way they are speaking its going to be trebles all round and a return to social reforms, an end to child poverty, a narrowing of the gap between rich and poor etc etc. All very laudable but they've all just voted in favour of austerity. Do they not see how fucking ridiculously hyporcriticle that stand is?
  17. So you don't think we should give McLaren any time to improve the players he inherited?....you're presumably talking about 3/4 new defenders?...how long do you want to give that to work?
  18. Hull spent a similar amount last summer and got relegated in May....means fuck all tbh..
  19. Mehdi Abeid is in Athens for a medical with Panathinaikos.....tiny bit disappointed with that to say the least
  20. Fish also said we'd spend big this summer....maybe he should close the comedy account and open a football prediction page?..... #chipinwiththefish.....
  21. You're missing the point if you think the tories won the election from the centre. You're also missing the point if you think his dafter opinions will make it into any manifesto. He's a catalyst for change, not a policy wonk.
  22. He's running for leader, he's not going to be taken seriously if he starts to send out mixed messages. He's got to say it. Theres no way he's still leader in 2020 whether he jumps or is pushed. The Labour party needs this though. The naked ambition for power without any principles in the other 3 candidates is nauseating. If it consigns the Labour party in the spirit in which it was formed to the history books then so be it. I frankly couldn't give a fuck tbh. Its cool to be cynical, nihilistic and dismissive of ideology nowadays. Jeremy Corbyn most definetly isn't cool, but he might be the father of the 21st century labour party by harking back to Labours ideological past.
  23. Who says anyone will need to get rid of him?....he has his beliefs but ffs he knows the country wont elect him as PM. He's there to turn the debate leftwards, that's it. Not to try to impose a totalitarian communist regime, not to re-open coal mines, not to do any of the scare stories that are being perpetrated about him at the moment. He, and the vast majority of the labour movement outside Westminster know this. As Chez said last week this is where he needs to start: http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/aug/16/jeremy-corbyn-corbynomics-cosy-consensus-debt-radical-fear
  24. If he wins he won't be leader at the 2020 election. Hopefully Labour can get all the unpleasantness out of the way in the next 18 months and at that point a unifying electable figure will appear and Corbyn will step aside. Wft the blairites think they're playing at telling scare stories to the press I dont know but I font think even the man himself thinks he'll be the leader at the next GE.
  25. When I saw he was left footed I presumed he'd replace the right footed Obertan on the left in the current line up. Unless we're selling the right footed Sissoko who is playing on the right hand side to replace him with the left footed Thauvin who can, as you say, play on the right. Amirite?
