How do you explain hordes of farmers and small businessmen all over rural Scotland voting for the closest thing to a bunch of socialists in this country though? If the exit polls are correct and Labour go back on everything theyve said and get into bed with the SNP + the lib dems its 307 for them v 316 for the tories so thats not really plausible...

You do if you're a person who wouldnt vote Labour even if your mum was standing for them....suppose its just a different side of the coin from up north where huge swathes of the electorate wouldnt go near anyone blue..

I had to explain the bedroom tax to some folk at work today, those that had heard of it were voting tory.Those who hadnt were voting tory. All blamed Labour for the recession. Strangely they were all from the South Dorset area, which has recently been Labour. All read The Sun though...
