That's ridiculous like, Eddie Howe took him to Burnley from Bournemouth's league 2 first team so what Burnley had to do with his development am not sure.
-
I agree that the club has been fuckin abysmal this summer so far but using Ings to illustrate it is bollocks tbh.
-
@@The Fish it's QPR who have to accept an offer from a buyer for Austin. Ings's agent could be a lot more up front in offering him to clubs. Am pretty sure up to the end of last week no one had even made an offer to QPR for Austin good or otherwise.
-
Not in any way attempting to be fair to CT for obvious reasons but Ings was blatantly leaving Burnley this summer because he was letting his contract run out. He also visited Moyes in Spain to speak to him during Burnleys relegation run in. That's why his move was done so quickly because hes had since January to talk to clubs. I've said it before, Charnley makes Llambias look like a transfer genius. It's like getting the tea boy to put the tender in for a multi million pound contract. Hopelessly out of his depth...."Carvs assured me we won't go down". What a fuckin cunt.

This sounds good... http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/whats-on/arts-culture-news/harry-clasper-remembered-new-play-9365563 Now far be it for me of all people to get all "uber Geordie" about anything but where the fuck do they get that the Blaydon Races was written for an obscure (these days) Victorian rower? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blaydon_Races As wiki says I thought the song was written to promote Geordie Ridleys show "at the mechanics hall in Blaydon"?? Further to this, arch mackem hack Kevin McGuire of Daily Mirror fame(?) has repeated the claim in his column this morning. So I've emailed the fucker to find out where they're getting this story from

Quite likely, but that's a recipe for more of the same shit which has lead us to the events of Friday.
-
Where do you get the idea there is one?
-
Well yeah but the whole thing was kicked off by 9/11 and what's been resolved by the response to that? The response has caused the very situation we've got in the likes of Tunisia. The cats out the bag, there's little will to do anything at the top because it won't serve any real purpose for them.
-
The west are a bit ambivalent about IS...they serve a purpose at the moment i.e. as has been said continuing to justify the "war on terror" but only on the end of a drones joystick A good mate has just come back from fighting with the Kurds in Syria and he's said it himself, the only ones willing to do what he's done certainly aren't in any western government. Hes an ex Royal Marine seargeant with the serious "black/white" vision of life that only trained killers have. That's the result of 20 years of training, but the people at the top are as usual letting things take their course. Not that sending in 200k troops to the Turkish border is either likely or militarily feasible. Meanwhile the people of the "kaliphate" can go swivel.

Not seen anything of Glasto and can't seem to get anything either live or on my red buttton bar Flo & TM from Friday...is there a better choice on the BBC website??

Steve McClaren sacked as Newcastle United 'Head Coach' (Manager)

Ian Cathro confirmed as assistant manager??... -
Stuff will happen, players will come and go and staff will be recruited, but it's likely that it will be nowhere near enough as per usual. Llambias was a fuckin genius when it comes to recruitment compared with Charnley who it appears would struggle to strike a deal for a straw donkey from a Majorca market stall.

Wonder what sort of "package" they're offering new staff?....if it's the same sort of derisory shit that Pardew (and no doubt Carver, Stone etc) put up with then I'm not surprised there's no takers. The game is awash with money but it would appear that Ashley is more interested in stuffing it all into his back pocket rather than paying the going rate for decent coaches. Suffice to say there's not many of us that were taken in by that mealy mouthed interview he gave..... -
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/teenager-took-selfies-sex-dog-5904281#rlabs=8 Tbf, back in the nineties there was a story circulating locally of a lass doing this sort of of thing in what she thought was her parents empty house only to be "caught out" by all her closest family who were silently waiting for her in another room by way of a surprise. Apparently she left the area shortly afterwards for somewhere abroad

I know. Why did they, as you opened this thread claiming, go into battle screeching "Scotland forever" then?....it just seems a bit of a strange thing to use as a war cry when fighting to preserve a worldwide mercantile empire under a German king.
-
Seeing as they were fighting on behalf of Great Britain, the British Empire and indeed their sausage sucking Bosch/Hun/Kraut king I think claiming the Jocks at Waterloo were fighting for some sense of independent nationhood is taking things a bit far tbh...
-
Is that normal then?...." Happy Ramadan!"?.....bit like " Merry Christmas"??

Similar things have been posted before but I've not seen these...I think my favourite is number 2 "scorpions roadie" http://sabotagetimes.com/#!/football/30-embarrassing-old-school-panini-stickers
