Speaking it is the easy bit....Spanish and French is spoken so quickly by the natives I cant understand more than the odd word/syllable/shrug/belch etc etc..
-
This is the bottom line.......what the fuck can we do about it? Theres 11 shirts to support, I suppose its up to you how you go about it, but if football supporters only gave their support to technically gifted players there would be even less noise in the concrete graveyards of the premier league....tbf, the atmosphere wasn't bad for an early kick off on Sunday..

fyp ..........to illustrate 50% isn't good enough....

Agreed. The thing is he's neither charismatic or a great orartor and the sun/mail reading fuckers who decide elections have already made their minds up about him due to the Tory propaganda machine.

We have, and we've also had Mike Williamson as first choice centre back since 2010. The squad has had in that time and will always have massive talent free holes in it. 5 years after our promotion the squad should be brimming with talent after careful development over that time by an experienced and thourough recruitment team. Instead we've had Graham Carr to trawl the continent encouraging talented payers to use us as a stepping stone to greater things. Meanwhile average players like Colback know they'll never play for a bigger club and are happy to stick around with the full knowledge that they'll get a regular game due to the very limited ambition at the club, illustrated by this shitty attitude to recruitment. I'd rather criticise this than individual players trying their best.

The future is always recorded my dear Parkster http://www.bbc.co.uk/archive/tomorrowsworld/8023.shtml

Criticising Colback for being a bit average with Mike Ashley as our owner is a bit pointless tbh. Its a bit like saying we should have Yaya fuckin Toure in there. He's ok. Sometimes I do wonder what people expect...

Apparently Jetro Willems was in the crowd watching the Southampton game on Sunday, sending cryptic instagram posts about "flying into the future"...

true story, it may have been posted on here before?....Niall Quinn once took Keviin Kyle and a few other mackem youngsters for a beer somewhere or other and they ran into Norman Whiteside. Quinny and him are seemingly friendly so theyre sat having a chat about football...Kyle is sat theyre listening and asked "So did you play yourself Norman?" Whiteside: "Do you know who the second youngest player ever to appear at a world cup finals is?" Kyle: "errr...naw.." Whiteside: "well that was a fellah called Pele, you may have heard of him?.....I'm the fuckin youngest!"

Was someone on here sat in at the back of the south east corner? Someone behind me tried to start "mbemba is a Geordie" (to the tune of "remember your a womble") am sure I read something like that on here? Whoever it was they didn't have any takers but I think with a bit of work at Swansea next week it could catch on

Don't know if Sissoko took a knock or is desperately unfit?...he disappeared again after Anita got injured, didn't make himself available hardly at all. Overall we were good for 60-70 minutes but they've already had competitive football in Europe and it showed in the last quarter. To say that the opening goal was against the run of play is an understatement tbh, we bossed the first half but didn't create many clear cut chances. Very encouraging though.

Has England's Aussie coach banned himself from media duties?...haven't heard him utter a word during this series...is he keen not to wind his countrymen up or is he just wanting to make sure he'll still get a pint in his local in Woolabrawoonga?

The Ashes might be won before the football season kicks off

My cousin got married on a Sunday because the most expensive venue in Edinburgh's west end shed booked for the gig would be cheaper. See also people getting married on a Friday. All wrong. Should be a law against it. Bastards.

Is that one of the gadges from breaking bad??

Strong saints team last night, they won 0-2: Stekelenburg, Caulker, Fonte, Yoshida, Martina, Wanyama, S. Davis, Ward-Prowse, Tadić, Mané, Pellè. Just as Ronald Koeman said he'd pick. Just seen his brother Erwin on the local news down here, saying that they understand the "Thursday/Sunday" thing in the months ahaead but after working hard all last season whats there will be no complaints from SFC and no excuses blaming Europe if things don't pan out as they hope in the league. How very refreshing
-
They had four In January and now they've only got two...can't see them not getting another one in tbh... Chelsea are putting a huge amount of faith in the physically suspect Costa and Falcao too..

Cameron wanted to arm "the Syrian opposition" who 12 months later we were calling Isis. Ed Milliband lead a very well argued opposition to this and the proposal was voted down. It seems that parliament in general has learned it's lesson from Iraq/Afghanistan but seemingly not the PM.

I think C4 news had to send their questions in before their invite was sent out...obviously a question about bans got them well, banned... Newcastle United, "controlling the message" like some low rent TASS...
