Fish also said we'd spend big this summer....maybe he should close the comedy account and open a football prediction page?..... #chipinwiththefish.....

You're missing the point if you think the tories won the election from the centre. You're also missing the point if you think his dafter opinions will make it into any manifesto. He's a catalyst for change, not a policy wonk.

He's running for leader, he's not going to be taken seriously if he starts to send out mixed messages. He's got to say it. Theres no way he's still leader in 2020 whether he jumps or is pushed. The Labour party needs this though. The naked ambition for power without any principles in the other 3 candidates is nauseating. If it consigns the Labour party in the spirit in which it was formed to the history books then so be it. I frankly couldn't give a fuck tbh. Its cool to be cynical, nihilistic and dismissive of ideology nowadays. Jeremy Corbyn most definetly isn't cool, but he might be the father of the 21st century labour party by harking back to Labours ideological past.

Who says anyone will need to get rid of him?....he has his beliefs but ffs he knows the country wont elect him as PM. He's there to turn the debate leftwards, that's it. Not to try to impose a totalitarian communist regime, not to re-open coal mines, not to do any of the scare stories that are being perpetrated about him at the moment. He, and the vast majority of the labour movement outside Westminster know this. As Chez said last week this is where he needs to start: http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/aug/16/jeremy-corbyn-corbynomics-cosy-consensus-debt-radical-fear

If he wins he won't be leader at the 2020 election. Hopefully Labour can get all the unpleasantness out of the way in the next 18 months and at that point a unifying electable figure will appear and Corbyn will step aside. Wft the blairites think they're playing at telling scare stories to the press I dont know but I font think even the man himself thinks he'll be the leader at the next GE.

When I saw he was left footed I presumed he'd replace the right footed Obertan on the left in the current line up. Unless we're selling the right footed Sissoko who is playing on the right hand side to replace him with the left footed Thauvin who can, as you say, play on the right. Amirite?

"Lets have something really blaaaaand!..."

Fuckin hell mate that's dreadful. How long you got left?

Having just watched motd it would seem Janmaats red was inevitable at some point but looked soft as fuck in the ground. Mitrovic cant be anywhere near fit enough even to do 45 mins which is a shite state of affairs. Some lads saying Sissoko was feigning injury and is off to some club or other this week. All in all a thorouly depressing day. Swansea had a plan for everything we did, they put a man on Anita from the word go to put him under pressure receiveing the ball from Krul, yet we persisted with doing it. Tbf though theres been a lot of changes so we may have to be patient. For a while.

"Career politicians see their careers taking an uncontrollable turn for the worse" That's why they're threatening to overturn the very demorcratic process they brought in to replace the union block vote. Two out the other three are ex cabinet members and the other one is as ruthlessly careerist as anyone I've seen in my life. They want power, and that's fuckin it. Theyll do anything to get it.

Easter Monday 1988. We went down a month later

First game was 1-1 v Exeter in the cup 1981/2(?) attended sporadically until I left school in 85 by which time there was a lad called Gascoigne making waves that our village Newcastle supporter said was the best young player he'd ever seen (good judge, rip Bob Pringle B.E.M.) So I probably went to 90% of home games between 85-90. I then moved down south after I finished my apprenticeship and attendance has been up and down since then due to living 367 miles from sjp...I do have 200+ away ticket loyalty points so am thinking I've been to maybe 500 ish?...

Theyre talking 12-14 million for a player that's never played in the premier league

My man Bernie is rocking the Demorcrat nomination gig...the games up for capitalism http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/leftwing-outsider-bernie-sanders-beating-hillary-clinton-in-new-hampshire-primary-poll-10451330.html

I think the situation is far from ok as I've outlined earlier but I accept it because theres next to fuck all I can do about it. I agree Colback is average-ish, I agree that I'd love a player like Cabaye in there, but I don't feel the need to slate the lad because with Ashley in charge its utterly pointless. Its called being a "supporter" in my book, i.e. offering support, the "11 shirts" thing? We're not Arsenal, with oodles of cash to spend on midfielders, but we could be. For the same reason that the squad will always be sub standard, we wont be.

China devalued the Yen today. Winter is coming

Capitalism cant distribute decent paying jobs to the masses like it did in the 20th century which is the main reason a lot of the masses are on benefits. Re-nationalising some things may address this. I think its something like this the elite may fear about a Corbyn bandwagon starting to roll. It needs someone more charismatic (younger, more telegenic for the morons in the south of England, and CT) to deliver the message though.

You're a supporter of a club that employed Shola for over a decade mate...in spite of this you live in the hope of (and indeed expect??) a squad brim full of talented footballers. You're wilfully following the wrong club if this is your criteria.
