  1. Supposing it's 50/50 that he's staying, and then suppose he does decide to leave; the timing of any announcement won't be governed by the wishes of the supporters. It's just a bizzare thing to request tbh. If he's going to leave then when it's announced is irrelevent iyam.
  2. I think Gloom started a thread a while back saying replacing trident was patent bollocks. He's largely correct, but he and JC fail to factor in vast swathes of the great British public (and Renton ) still being obsessed with fighting 20th century wars.
  3. All the best @@adios & family Great semi final tbf, two good sides to say the least. Next season looks hard like
  4. True. Am selling it next week to buy a hand glider and some carpet bowls
  5. The left hand one flips up, a one ring burner sits in the sink on that side and rests on the right hand side......but let's face it, decks are a brilliant idea
  6. Aye you can imagine Northumbria's finest finding the shovel, gaffer tape, cable ties, rohypnol in the back of his like
  7. She pealed that off on Good Friday! #classyburd
  8. Soooo....after myself and the current Mrs PL spending 14 weeks in a camper van in Oz & NZ last year....
  9. So that's the number of tracks you rate with 5* on each album?....am still analogue at heart I think, I've never even thought of doing that. It's interesting what you say though, maybe Ill Communcations in general just evokes a feeling of a place in time? (there's dozens of records that do that for me)
  10. And err, aye, Iggy turns 70 today....happy birthday ya freekin radgepacket....
  11. 25 years ago today Beastie Boys released "Check Your Head"; recorded in LA, it's considered by a lot of well placed judges to be their definitive work. Well they're wrong, because the follow up 94 release "Ill Communications" is better. But there's not a lot in it tbh... http://floodmagazine.com/43860/beastie-flood-6-cover-story/ I was living in Edinburgh at the time, bought it on vinyl from the long gone Avalanche Records in Hunter Square. Newcastle were in mortal danger of relegation to division three at the time and I'll always associate this record with brief feelings of simultaneous dread and joy, paranoia and euphoria...it was almost as if I didn't want to let myself enjoy it too much...which is obviously fuckin stupid
  12. Although Ehiogu eventually moved into coaching, the break from football allowed him to follow his other passion, helping to set up record label Dirty Hit, which boasts the likes of The 1975, Ben Khan, Superfood, Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Fossil Collective. In 2010, he told Skysports.com: “I miss parts of football, I miss the banter, but I was lucky enough to have 20 years of playing and that was enough of training, playing and the discipline. It had taken its toll and my mind and my body were ready for a break. Advertisement “My love of football is massive, but my love of music is amazing. “You have people eating out of your hands when you’re singing, you have people singing the lines of your song. “Basically, the only difference would be that, socially, when you’re a musician it seems that you can get away with doing almost anything you like. It is deemed as being what a rock star does. That balance needs to readdress itself, but I don’t think it ever will.”
  13. Shocking that like, 44 and no doubt super fit. Good player as well, think he got a cap or two? Rip
  14. I took the advice of this thread and purchased a safety razor in an effort to save money on overpriced Gillette products. Which has worked, but the actual blades I bought (100 of the fuckers) are shite tbh, they're Astra superior platinum. Anyone recommend something better?...oh and I'm still using Nivea shaving gel as the badger bristle and shitty soap method was wank too.
  15. Fuck me, the beast of Boldon walks among us again
  16. Analytics type stuff and 'ting http://opinium.co.uk/tory-landslide-mission-impossible/
  17. Yeah that's true but they don't want to believe labours "lies"They want to believe there's an alternative to what they've been dished up for the last 30 years, but they've been manipulated into thinking that Brexit is the cute all. And Corbyn is so airy fuckin fairy about it he'll barely mention in the campaign.
  18. Labour will kill Labour off. I've just watched Corbyns attempt at Churchills "fight them on the beaches" speech from yesterday and it was fuckin hideous. Tbh if you had a smooth talking 40 something with a 1st class degree in PPE whos never had a real job wearing a good suit saying the same things the uk electorate wouldn't listen to them either. The Torres are trying to wander into the Labour heartlands that voted en masse for Brexit loudly proclaiming " vote for us and we will indeed lead you into your promised land " ....not that tricky to see what will happen tbh.
