  1. I thought it was from about 10 mins ago....is Fish as we speak running around like corporal Jones?..."don't panic!"
  2. https://mobile.twitter.com/mhardysport/status/827283315069628417
  3. Ashley's like loaned us 33mill(is this since relegation? @@Happy Face) and thinks we should be pissing it http://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/broken-promises-cast-doubts-over-benitezs-future-pbqblr2dd?shareToken=1e65fc2fb9717907e76baf1a451028a3
  4. Briefing against Ashley to the press may even see him off before then tbh. It looks like Ashley just hasn't even bothered to try to come to some sort of compromise about funds, he's just left it to Charnley and Carr who appear to have just fucked Rafa over. I thought yesterday the relationship may be salvageable but that looks unlikely now.
  5. Little brother back at the toon and now......
  6. It was Autumn (March) when we did it, you're doing it in the summer so the weather should be better
  7. There's dozens of unbeleiveable houses dotted all over the hills above the sound only accessible by boat or walking track. It's difficult to choose like but it was probably my favourite part, we were supposed to be staying for just a day but we went to Nelson (about 2 hours away) then went back to Picton for another couple of nights and did a cruise up the sound to Ships Bay where Captain Cook (the current Mrs PL is descended from his sister) moored up 7 or 8 times as he'd been "introduced" to the local Maori chiefs daughter
  8. Had to google emetoohobic, aye she might struggle It's always blowing a gale in Wellington, we arrived for a lunchtime sailing and there wasn't a ferry in sight, the one we were waiting for left Picton at 7am and didn't arrive till 4pm (the crossing isn't more than 3 hours) The weather in the straight was horrendous that morning, to the extent there was an NZ tv crew waiting for it coming in (that shows how fabulously dull NZ is ) and filled the evening news bulletin with pictures of vomit all over the ship
  9. Well pleased with that after seeing the reserves getting knocked out the cup at the weekend, that's worked well then
  10. Keepers ball all night, QPR deserve their point for their first half efforts
  11. Wellington is just about the best drinking city I've ever visited. Not the cheapest but some brilliant bars, this was our favourite http://www.hashigozake.co.nz/ If you're taking your car on the ferry from Wellington to Picton @@Andrew make sure you take some ginger or kalms or some other travel sickness remedy. The Cook Straight is rough as fuck but it's worth for Marlborough Sound and Picton. Make sure you do the Queen Charlotte drive to Havelock (stop there for mussels) and Nelson. Try the local wine which is excellent and the local Moa beer brewed at Blenheim
  12. Far too casual and uncomitted, Murphy hasn't had any service because we can't get the ball out if midfield with QPR winning it back most times were in possession and putting our fairly average back line under pressure on the counter. Sammy first change for Gouffran, that'll show the fuckers
  13. I've absolutely no desire to defend Trump but you were rightly fond of saying Hilary is/was held to a different standard by the media and people in general. We're seeing a bit of that with Trump iyam. There again, sacking your chief legal officer because you want to ignore the law is a very dangerous step and I don't think enough has been made of that in general. That's properly worrying iyam but it's already today's chip paper.
  14. We went to hobbiton, which I would recommend even if your not a huge fan of the films, gorgeous spot. We did 3 weeks on each island, which barely offered us the highlights tbh. What are you driving?
  15. Both islands? We did that last year, the current Mrs PL would go back tomorrow if she could, I'd probably join her once promotion was confirmed ?
  16. We can't spend four seasons annihilating Pardew for playing players out of position then come out with this man
  17. It's officially a coup....according to MSM anyway... http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/donald-trump-michael-moore-coup-us-steve-bannon-sally-yates-rule-of-law-a7554556.html?cmpid=facebook-post
  18. Am I right in saying the senate/hor/congress are the ones who do the impeaching gig? or do the judiciary get involved?
  19. Attorney general: "your immigration order is actually illegal Mr President" Trump: "shut it bitch, you're fired" http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-38805944
  20. I think Putin is fuckin loving this at the minute. It's almost as if Trump is the perfect Russian stooge....I think when Russia make their first play to try him out there'll be a swift realisation that he's completely out of his depth. He'll then be impeached and told to fuck off back to his tower.
  21. There was a lad at work last week and he was claiming the usual stuff about Brexit being a cure all for every he perceived to be wrong with the country. I think it's summed up best by the folk the media talked to in Sunderland after the vote. They've been manipulated into thinking that the EU is the root cause of everything that's wrong with this country and how much it affects their lives. I asked which EU laws the lad at work was looking forward to being repealed and he mentioned bananas and vacuum cleaners Think most of my mates would vote for the Tories,or Tony Blair
  22. I'm what you'd call a skilled manual worker, in one way or another so are most of my friends. They are variously self employed small businesses, one is a window fitter, one is a window cleaner, one lad sources and supplies branded mechandise to companies and sports clubs. One lad fits stairlifts, one worksw at an insurance company, one lad is a plasterer and another is a regional salesman for a corporate industrial vechicle supplier. None of us stayed at school beyond 16 and none of us have been near a university. We live in one of most affluent areas of Britain and we are all frankly thriving. All in well paid work, all with long term wives/partners, most with kids who are doing well at school. We have literally nothing to complain about re immigrants and immigration(the insurance lad was born in Bangladesh)All in all, we've got pretty charmed lives. I'm the only one who voted to stay in the EU. They've all gone with their feelings rather than looking at the facts. They've gone from being typically A-political to being in favour of a pretty hard brexit. Theyve all been completely manipulated, which is what Farage set out to do to people like us.
  23. Trump and Brexit happened because manipulative figures convinced ordinary people that their lives were worse than shit because of politicians.
