Goal line tech was brought on the principle that its either a goal or it's not. Whether a challenge is a pen or not is an opinion. Look at Lallana the other night v Everton, the replays were clear on one thing, that what they showed was inconclusive. I thought it wasn't, but others thought it was. All technology proved that it wasn't clear cut and you just had to make up your own mind. The key opinion in this therefore isn't the refs, it's his colleague looking at the video. It's him who stops play for the review, not the ref on the pitch as you say. But apparently a lot of players have been appealing to the on pitch ref, this happened between Lazio and Fioretina before new year, the ball hit a Lazio players hand in the penalty area and the on pitch ref went to video instead of his colleague on the touchline. Perhaps it's all just teething trouble but ffs football is the world game and it became that long before and without the need for world wide media driving bullshit like this just because they can. Ive frankly had enough of self important pundits and the witless morons who parrot what they say. This will just make it all fully worse.

There was a thread on here years ago (if anyone with search skills better than mine wants to give it a go feel free, i couldnt find it) awhere my complete pedant/ludite side annihilated anyone who was suggesting that goal line technology wouldn't lead to technology being used for matters of opinion and not just fact on the field of play. Well here we fuckin are folks... https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/var-explained-how-the-video-assistant-referee-system-will-be-used-in-brighton-vs-crystal-palace-fa-a3734186.html

I didn't say he was. I said it's just a basic hoovering up of available talent so he can't play for anyone else in direct competition with Chelsea. My point was Chelsea do this all the time without any regard for whether the player is likely to be good enough or not, Why haven't Chelsea got anyone good enough for the first team squad between the ages of 19-24 seeing as they cynically recruit and then loan out huge numbers of young players?

Ok, how many Chelsea youngsters currently out on loan at other clubs do you think fit into this criteria:

Newcastle United v Luton Town FA Cup 3rd round sat 6/1/18

I think my sister bought that when it came out and played the arse off it for a month or so...may explain why I know every single word Rafa says he'll treat Luton with the same respect as he did Man City... no doubt an afternoon of thrills and spills awaits then.. -
Fairly standard Chelsea policy...sign half decent prospect to prevent others from doing so...

I don't watch anywhere near as much football as I used to but I've maybe sat down and watched him play an entire 90mins for Celtic and Southampton 4 times and in every single game he's given a goal away by being caught under a high floated ball ino the box. One occasion was earlier this season during a sky game, can't remember the opposition though. He seems indecisive and ends up isolated in those situations. Given the standard of Liverpool's goal keepers I cant see this improving. No doubt he's a very decent player overall, but if lfc fans are waking up this morning thinking their defensive worries are over then I reckon fairly soon they'll be thinking again

No Souness, but we did run into this miserable fucker... Just to say it was 13 degrees Celsius in Bournemouth on Saturday lunchtime and the cunt was still done up like a low rent Yorkshire pimp from 1973....."DAVID CAN YOU TELL THOSE PEOPLE TO MOVE ON PLEASE THEYRE DISTRACTING ME" he bleated (geddit??! ) to his director whilst we were all saying how fuckin old he looked.... someone uttered something about cancelling their licence fee because of his fuckin attitude and off we wandered for more free booze... -

Today, am basically about to sleep with someone else’s missus, in possibly the worst way https://www.afcb.co.uk/black-label-events/hospitality Never done anything like this before. A mate owns a civil engineering company and sponsors half a dozen games a season at Dean Court. Usually it’s his clients he takes but he didn’t want to be sat about talking about concrete and aggregate during the festive period and just wants to sit around getting pissed. A certain Mr G Souness is known to frequent to corporate area on match days so am looking forward to a chat with him later -
Aye, got our cup run to think of Neville and Carraghers comments smack of a pre ordained agenda, sky want an attractive product, ok fair one. Who created the massive wealth in the premier league Jamie? The same fuckers who are keeping you in a job after you packed in playing by any chance? What a fuckin cunt.
