If Ashley had turned up for the meeting in the desert.... https://www.theguardian.com/news/2017/dec/15/manchester-city-football-group-ferran-soriano -
It’s simple for me, if the club is sold in the next 7 days we’ll get some players in January and will probably be ok. If it’s not then Rafa will jack at some point in January and we’ll be properly fucked and we’ll be staring at divi 3 this time next year. In a lot of ways if Ashley s still owner it doesn’t really matter. The club isn’t going to move forward in any way shape or form with him in charge so am passed fuckin worrying about the fat cunt. Next week for me is just a case of either who blinks first, failing that PCP will probably move on to another club. Likely to be Sunderland knowing our luck

Did Dillon miss a sitter?
-
Was at that...was there in the late 80s too when that mackem Dillion missed a fuckin sitter in a nil nil....came out couldn't find the fuckin car. Think they'd just shut the last of the pits, place was like Mad Max with added lung disease. A gang of what the sun would describe as "feral youths" were eyeing us suspiciously and by the looks of it were about to go and get their big brothers out the pub when we went up the right terraced street and found the missing Nissan micra and the day was saved..

At 1000 this morning I heard sky sports over excited uber bollocks talker Jim White say on talk sport that Amanda Stavely will be sole owner and CEO of NUFC when the takeover is complete -
Was this the plan all along? Was Rafa put up to the Newcastle job by Staveley?

No need to apologise, but there’s no guarantees with any owners. Having KK in there at least lends an opinion to club matters that would be vaguely in tune with what supporters want. Of course that is also a brilliant reason for any new owners to not appoint him at all. If it’s going through the ownership model will be interesting. All we know is Mandy, but she’s just basically a fund manager. Who is the real money behind PCP? -

If a new regime want a completely united club then they should appoint Kevin Keegan to the board to be in charge of culture, ethics, direction and policy. With explicit instructions not to get under Rafas feet -

Does the current Mrs Gloom turn her hand to diy and home maintenance??

Not sheep, those who believe what they’re told by politicians? Yes its cynical but but it’s very apparent to me we’ve been constantly lied to and belittled by those in power my entire adult life. Voting for any mainstream party is becoming a pointless act. A likely hung parliament with Corbyn at the helm will change fuck all.
-
Or as I like to call them "the easily led, malleable, simple to manipulate fools" It's them who voted for Brexit too. Is any of this sounding close to home?..

After the horrific tube and bus bombings in London in July 2005 we were due to play Arsenal at Highbury in one of the first fixtures of the season the following month. Am not of massive fan of LU at the best of times and I remember thinking "bloody hell, think I'll get a cab to the ground" which is of course utter bollocks, I'd never done it before so why would I start doing it now? So it was put to the back of my mind along with our abysmal record at Arsenal in general. I live on the south coast and got on the train that morning with several different feelings whirring around my stomach; trepidation, excitement etc.. it was only after getting off at Waterloo and heading down the escalator to the underground ticket hall that I realised that they'd all gone. It was at that point I think I learned a true life lesson; if you drink 6 cans of Stella on a train journey of 2.5 hours you're afraid of nothing and fuckin nobody Hope this helps, good luck with your studies

Giroud equalises for Arsenal at Southampton 87th minute; Van Dijlk caught on no mans land complelty misses a chance to head clear. Every time I’ve sat down and watched him play he’s been the same. Fuck knows why he’s in demand tbh

Richard Desmond Ashley Steve Wraith This Stavely wife keeps some awful fuckin company mind Someone on Twitter said that Desmond and Stavely attended a Bell Pottinger party together . Is it ok to be against her before we're sold? Is that unreasonable?.. -
There's a two year transitional period, and I've just listened to the PM and the dup wife list the bullet points. Campbell on 5live has just read out the massively ambiguous paragraph 49 of the agreement being trumpeted this morning. This isn't the end, this isn't the beginning of the end and it's definitely not the end of the beginning on the border issue for you folks. I think you'll end up with EU checks for lorries going South out of NI, but not till after the two year transitional period.
-
Is there anything to stop the EU setting up customs checks at the road north out of somewhere like Dundalk?...
-
It's just the wording the DUP object to? Not Dublin and the EU getting their own way in the border issue then? Just "words"?

PaddockLad replied to Dr Gloom's topic in Newcastle Forum
A spare ticket has appeared for what is bound to be a feast of football...seeing as media luvvie @Dr Gloom basically lives on the Kings road then I think the face price of a mere 30 sheckles will tempt him out of his 3 storey townhouse with underground parking & plungepool, skilfully avoiding an afternoon of Christmas shopping with the current Mrs Gloom and the carpet monsters
