  1. Mail online still leading with Trump to visit N. Korea. Which in itself is a massive media distraction ploy....Mueller/Russia, Stormy D, being the most reviled piece of shit in the planet...."I KNOW, LETS GET SOME SHOTS OF HIM PLAYIMG ON ONE OF KIM'S TANKS" Meanwhile, Northern Ireland stops the hard Brexit the bigots are desperate for. Marvellous.
  2. Heard you on the radio yesterday mate, were you eating jellied eels at the time?...bit muffled but got the drift, fair play to you, you'll know my donation when you see it
  3. Brutal.... https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/newcastle-united-summon-host-players-14384436.amp?__twitter_impression=true Highly amusing to see the 37 year old Curtis Good released from his youth team contract
  4. If we dont finish above Moyes mob given what's going on in the background in East London I might just give up... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/west-ham-united-board-protest-march-meetings-hooligans-icf-action-group-a8244951.html?amp&__twitter_impression=true
  5. The other night, I put this to the most enthusiastic and long standing brexiteer of my aquaintance: Four people get in a car in Dublin, post Brexit. They drive north across a still invisible frictionless border with ANR. What nationality are they? Needless to say, there was silence. Until he uttered: ' that doesn't concern us, the politicians will work out the details for us" This cunt has been to see farage talk, had his picture taken with him. 49, lives in a village in rural Dorset, lives with his elderly parents whilst he pays off the credit card debt he ran up travelling in the 90s. There are no words for my utter contempt for him.
  6. Snap It's been in my head all bastard week...
  7. If Spurs are still in the FA cup & Champions league in April then its tricky....the draw for the quarter final of the champions league is the day before the 6th round of the FA cup 17th March,. If Spurs get through first time v Swansea it'll probably be played in late March to leave April free for them....well, that would be the common sense thing to do.. 16/03/18: Quarter-final draw 03–04/04/18: Quarter-finals, first leg 10–11/04/18: Quarter-finals, second leg 13/04/18: Semi-final and final draw 24–25/04/18: Semi-finals, first leg 01–02/05/18: Semi-finals, second leg 6th
  8. Poisened in Zizis in sleepy bloody Salisbury...but that's only the tip of a very sinister iceberg... https://www.buzzfeed.com/heidiblake/from-russia-with-blood-14-suspected-hits-on-british-soil?utm_term=.sd47JPWdR#.paDYaljO5
  9. Is it too early to say that Mourinho has fuckin ruined Sanchez?...
  10. Apparently Pakace haven’t won a game this season without Zaha and he’s injured again?
  11. This is getting near the crux of the “modern football is shite” thing The City or Chelsea of 2018 would play their 1992-93 equivalents off the field, and the rout could be anatomised and analysed in a raft of statistics the 1992 players would never have heard of. But who has gained? Does a higher technical standard of play make people feel better about soccer? Were the City fans who celebrated Silva’s goal yesterday any happier than the Chelsea fans who celebrated Harford’s in 1992? https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soccer/english-soccer/ken-early-castrate-a-red-bull-or-bow-down-to-cash-1.3414770?mode=amp
  12. I put a link up earlier which says he got no more than half a dozen caps here but am not sure how accurate that is. He was sold the same week we signed Owen. We haven’t finished above spurs since.
  13. Could be viewed as his direct replacement.. Jenas was sold to Newcastle United for £5 million in February 2002.[4] On 7 February 2002, after almost 10 years on Tyneside, Lee moved to Derby County for a transfer fee of £250,000
  14. If I’m reading this correctly, Jenas came off the England bench a total of 3 times as a Newcastle player. Strange how that fact didn’t spoil his “ I’m not blaming anyone but..” charade. Basically he was in far, far more England squads as a Spurs player than an England player. https://www.11v11.com/teams/england/tab/players/season/2005/
  15. Theres a lot in this like. Souness played for Liverpool and all they did in training was 5 a side; because they had half a dozen world class players they didn’t need to keep sharpening their skills. Souness had Dean fuckin Saunders doing any training at NUFC. For me Jenas decline with us started with the appointment of Souness.
  16. Has anyone tried to defrost a vehicle today?...6 inches of snow here yesterday afternoon were followed by a night of some sort of freezing rain followed by a sharp frost, this resulted in my van not having just a layer of frost on the windscreen which can be scraped off in a minute or so but the whole thing being enasced like some sort of frozen tomb in sheets of ice half an inch thick So I've spent an hour getting rid of all that shit and for the moment the snow is holding off. If it stays that way and If I can get to the dual carriage way a mile down the road in the morning we'll be fine
