  1. They spoke to him when Koeman was peddled but then they went for Silva at Watford. When they came back he doubled his wage demands. Quite fuckin right too.
  2. Labour has undoubtedly got a problem with anti Semitism . Why the fuck is it being debated in the House of Commons though?
  3. Stuart Maconie in the pages of the NME beat you to that shit by a decade and a half mate....neither you nor him were wrong like
  4. I did state that am not accusing anyone of conspiracy. Am accusing them of filling airtime and column inches with un verifiable guff and just confusing the fuck out of people.
  5. Agreed. That's how it comes across the article too. But that's precisely why it should never have seen the light of day in an allegedly reputable publication. That's verging on fake news iyam. Twitter was alive with every fuck nut on the planet quoting Fisk' s piece this morning. The BBC footage was filmed by some Ron Burgandy fucker from CBS. Would you have taken the word of these locals?.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-middle-east-43796356/syria-war-inside-douma-eastern-ghouta-bombed-city-of-the-chemical-attack Between the two stories there's little to go on and the yank doesn't really question the veracity of what he's being shown. They're just broadcasting "stuff" because they've got airtime to fill.
  6. BBC: reporting this morning as fact that it was chlorine gas delivered by a missile into the roof of a building. Robert Fisk in the independant: doctor in the hospital said the foaming mouths filmed was due to oxygen deprivation caused by conventional shelling. Who's right Gloom? Seriously, I have no idea. Am not suggesting conspiracy or false flag or any of that nonsense by the folk on the ground, I just don't know who to trust because reputable journalists and agencies are filing copy that contradicts each other. That'll be the MSM.
  7. Some yank reporter on BBC breakfast this morning was being shown the very missile that delivered the chemical attack, I think he was with the same group of journalists as Robert Fisk was. I think my point is that journalistic truth is fuckin dead and that makes informed comment even for the smartest among us very difficult. It's not that I don't want to believe any MSM outlet because I don't agree with what they are presenting as news, I just think they could well be churning out bullshit as content because they absolutely have to broadcast "something". The whole thing depresses me almost as much as the thousands of dead Syrians. We still don't know what happened and are unlikely ever to know for sure But we've still bombed Syria. Again. Creating more jihadis. And on it goes.

  9. Just seen his question to Rudd. Fuck me he was (rightly) furious...
  10. Mitro Gayle Darlow Elliot Colback Clark Gamez Manquillo Merino Yedlin are all expendable and I expect half of them to go. They may not generate a lot, but that's where we're at.
  11. Yeah well APART from them Point still stands, we're selling to buy which isn't good for the depth of the squad...
  12. Think if the cups go as described we need to finish 7th, with Arsenal and Chelsea finishing 5th & 6th, that would give the league Europa spot to us
  13. Seeing as we’ve never spent more than 11mill on a player since Ashley bought the club I think some are over indulging in their Football Manager type fantasies here a bit We'll probably sign the goalie but I seriously think Kenedy and Slimani are outside our likely budget without selling players. Which probably means getting rid of Gayle & Mitro at least which to me means yes we'll likely get some new free faces in but the squad won't improve that much.
  14. Didn’t decide to go to the game till late but was pleased to be greeted by the unexpected sight of @Howmanheyman as soon as we stepped foot into our first Tyneside bar fresh off the train On the grounds of confidentiality and taste I can’t divulge the name of the aforementioned bar but it’s been recently done up for the first time in at least 30 years and the bogs no longer stink like a navvies arse crack after a 10 hour shift. Anyway, according to my calculations the following scenario(s) get us a place in Europe next season... Liverpool win champions league Arsenal win Europa league Chelsea win FA cup Burnley lose all their league games We win all ours Over to you Rafa
  15. No one outside “the usual suspects” have done these at home this season...but we’re the form team of the division so it’s a win by at least two for Rafas free flowing semi pragmatism v the horrifying Stone Age brutalism of Bisto tits
  16. Phoned my mate earlier, he lives with a lass from Corbridge but her folks are mackems and her son is a season ticket holder..he was leaving early for the match tonight........SO HE COULD PICK HIS SEAT FOR NEXT SEASON AS THEYRE HAVING TO SHUT HALF THE GROUND
  17. Aye as a plan b him and Vardy are potentially a fuckin dream. If Jonjo nicks 3-4 goals before the end of the season he"ll be hard for anyone to ignore...anyone who isn't Southgate that is...
  18. They're in Moscow on Thursday night and have been awful away from home all season. 0-3, Ozil looking like some sort of Teutonic/Turkish hybrid Messi type-dude
  19. I get the argument that he's a squad player at a some of the club's that he's been linked with but Chelsea are fuckin chronic this season and he's at least as good on this form as anyone there bar Hazard who as Andrew says might be moving too. He'll be given a chance next season and if he doesn't take it he'll be out on loan again next January iyam.
  20. Isn't he just as likely to be starting for Chelsea next season as anyone?...suppose that depends on their (very likely) new coach but you might think the likes of Willian might fancy one last move, and he's better than Moses...
  21. Amber Rudd....either a blatant liar or utterly incompeten. Or, and evidence is certainly pointing that way, both...* * with added Boris Johnson, who wrote the book on this shit...
  22. If you know Mitro really well – if you attack and you create a lot of chances and crosses he will score goals, no doubt that. But a team that has 40-45 or even 35% possession in some games, you have to defend in some games, you have to play counter-attack. If you don’t have all these players who can do that and you have to sacrifice something. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/wondering-rafa-loaned-mitro-read-14364221
