Chelsea have been playing 4 at the back this season. This might just be to spoil what they're expecting from us rather than anything more sinister... -

Paganism is demonstrably less weird than sprinkling holy water and lighting joss sticks above a coffin

I was indeed the only person to wander in and just shuffle along a pew. Everyone else acted as if they were the only ones who could actually see Prince William and Kate stood next to the geezer in the frock No wonder Ireland have mostly fucked all that stuff offf nowadays. I understand as recently as the 80s on the likes of St Patrick’s day folks had to go to mass three times in the one day?

Just to cheer everyone up, I attended my first requiem mass yesterday, in fact it was my first mass of any kind......it’s taken me till this evening to properly process my thoughts on it. In view of this and at the risk of being accused of being a raging bigot, I’d just like to ask any RC’s on this esteemed forum one question...what the fuckin hell is all that about?

Sports Direct AGM on Sept 12th, Poland Street, London @ 11am. I expect some very uncool looking Mags, Gers & HoF GMB members to be outside, definitely not trying to act cool

Half expected to wake up this morning to find that the US had nuked North Korea. Maybe Trump will just fire some tweets out about how he loves drowning puppies or something

Because recently there's aparentlty been a lot of it going on at the BBC. Ex senior figures at the daily mail and sky news have been appointed and there's been an alleged shift to the right in editorial stance accordingly, Today on R4 has come in for particular criticism. I think it's fair to say people with agendas will try to control media. Whether it's going on to any great extent at the BBC I have no idea. But, it doesn't look good from where I'm standing. Am sure the good doctor gloom will be along in a minute to tell me I'm a fuckin wacko so don't worry too much about it

I have no idea. It's nothing to do with religion for me anyway. To me iIt's the BBC (amongst others) looking the other way on the likes of the Yemen bus bombing then showing Corbyn holding a wreath at a cemetery. Despite having lots of good in him he's an appalling leader, there's no question of that and he's left himself open to these accusations because of it, but as I said, it's not a good look for a state funded broadcaster seeing as Hodge's daughter has apparently only recently been parachuted into her position at the BBC.

This individuals colleagues and peers are all coming out to bat for her and a lot of those who are drawing attention to it on twitter appear to be fuckin cranks but this really doesn’t look good for the bbc iyam

Rafa’s bargain bin boys vs Warnock’s wankers
PaddockLad replied to Dr Gloom's topic in Newcastle Forum
Havent seen any highlights but as we came out the ground we were accosted by some gobby locals who said Kenedy should have got a red too, I said that's fuckin ironic because we were of the strong opinion that Harry Arter should've gone for an early bath as well. A physical confrontation was only narrowly averted by our coming upon a Chinese restaurant which promised a half aromatic crispy duck but more importantly chilled bottles of Tsingtong beer in an apparently publess neighborhood. Suitably sated, we caught the train back to Bristol, grizzling about the fuckin appallingly inadequate refereeing display and the lack of decent bars where you could get draught Estrella Galicia. Not sure what yesterdays performance against a typically big and physical Warnock side says about what the season might have in store but I can confidently predict being in the bottom 3 by the end of September just because of our fixtures. After that it's up to Rafa.... I have have faith in his ability and his decisions but to say he's been let down this summer is the understatement of the fuckin decade. We musn't let him down ourselves though by wetting our collective knickers every time things don't go our way. -
