  1. No mate not Everton. They won the league in 1985. A month later all English clubs were banned from European competition till 1991.
  2. If we’re heading for a hard Brexit, then we’re heading for a united Ireland https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/feb/26/hard-brexit-united-ireland-second-referendum-dup?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Copy_to_clipboard
  3. Has Trump kicked off a war between Pakistan & India to divertb attention from this and the soon to report Mueller? 🤔
  4. First post in 13 years. Well Googled but you’re only cheating yourself
  5. And another thing.... she fought so hard for her selection that she literally lived at the incumbent Labour member for Wavertree’s house in the run up to the candidate election in 2010. Said incumbent’s partner ran the actual election and the count was also done at their house
  6. Not had a quiz on here for AGES! Heard this today and one of the answers is so tricky you’ve got to own a dozen anoraks to get it There 8 European cities that have had more than one club reach the semi finals of the European Cup or Champions League....GO..
  7. Depends when you did them. After you read my post?
  8. Accepted due to your apparent huge and just a tiny bit bizarre knowledge of the voting record in the Liverpool Wavertree constituency Did she also increase her majority in 2017?
  9. Was he majority increased on the back of a left wing manifesto though?
  10. Ok I’ll bend over and accept my arse kicking ewerk Am not aware of her voting record and am fucked if I’m googling it in a desperate attempt to make myself look clever on the internet. The circumstances of her appointment appear to be disputed if what I read at the weekend is true. In my opinion she’s plainly a centrist in the Blairite mould. As I’ve said in the past I never voted for him because I thought he was basically just another fuckin Tory. That feeling remains with Chukka & the rest of the fuckin chickens. They don’t seem to have realised that this 50 year argument on the Tory back benches has changed politics in his country forever. Populism is on the rise all over Europe. I think we’re stuck with it and the sort of corporate friendly fuckwittery of 20 years won’t win another election in this country for the foreseeable future.
  11. University (3 degrees?) then straight into management consultant role then parachuted into a safe northern constituency she plainly thought was her “right” to represent, just because it would benefit her career path. I’d prefer politicians with at least some life experiences that the vast majority of the electorate can relate to. Westminter is chock full of these types and it’s to the detriment of our democracy iyam.
  12. In the Strawberty car park? Its what he would’ve wanted
  13. You get the impression Trump has got to where he is on drive and determination alone. I imagine meetings with him throughout his career have consisted of people pretending to listen intently then completely ignoring his instructions and just going and doing things properly.
  14. The stadium or the overpriced rabbit hutches for brain dead wage slaves?
  15. The Defiant Ones Dr Dre is a pretty extraordinarily person....his mate Jimmy Iovine has had an indescribably fuckin insane life though. Brilliant stuff.
  16. Well he’s looked uninterested to me and last season he looked sharp and eager to get involved. I have no opinion on his character really, am not often on here criticising the players because it’s utterly fuckin pointless when we’re owned by Ashley. I wouldn’t blame any of them for aiming higher.
  17. Maybe someone has said it on here before(?) but Kennedy has played most of the season as if his agent told him last summer that he’d end up at a “big club” and he’s gutted to be back here.
  18. Almiron is the player Rafa has been waiting for. The midfielder with the pace to make runs from deep into space in front of the leader of the line. That utterly changes how we play at home immediately. I still think we’ll play within ourselves away from home but he has the pace to be deadly on the counter too. Hes the new Rob Lee.
  19. Just watching Ms Berger now on Marr. First thought is the most socialist provincial city in the UK isn’t having an ultra London metropolitan Blairite parachuted into a safe urban northern constituency at the fag end of the New Labour project as their MP any longer. If I was one of her constituents I wouldn’t want her as my MP. So it looks like they’ve driven her out. She’s odds on to lose her seat at the next GE. As Gloom has pointed out though the tactics some have used to bully her out are fuckin repulsive and Corbyn appears to be doing nothing to stop it.
