  1. I couldn’t before the advice changed today. Ive had to tell work that my asthma is playing up, not that I should be signed off due to Corona virus. There’s nothing wrong with me, I’ve got no symptoms. My issues are the risk of infection from the doctor’s surgeries I work in all day everyday because (officially as of today according to the government) I’m in a vulnerable group. But it looks like my employer could still require me to attend
  2. Not as yet mate I don’t think... I think it’ll be left to the contractor you’re subbying for..
  3. Am fuckin fucked 😞 https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-on-social-distancing-and-for-vulnerable-people/guidance-on-social-distancing-for-everyone-in-the-uk-and-protecting-older-people-and-vulnerable-adults
  4. We had “one on one” interviews with NHSPS last month, they just wanted us to sign a bit of paper accepting the new T&Cs. “Can I see the contract please?” I chirped up. “No we can’t show you the contract!” Came the reply As you say, I can tupe across on my current contract but they plainly want us on these new ones ASAP. The thing in our advantage is they’re chronically short of engineers anyway and now this virus shit. But that is also now a disadvantage as opportunities to jump ship are going to be fewer than before Bunter started piping up at tea time
  5. I’m in a weird position...we Tupee across to our current client (NHS Property Services)on the 1st April. I’ve got just about enough sick days left to get me there but they want us to sign new contracts with new T & Cs but havent fuckin shown us them yet. I’ve no idea if I’ll get paid beyond the end of this month if I’ve to be off for 3 fuckin months 😞
  6. Yeah I had mine in the autumn too...there's zero fuckin clarity..what a fuckin mess..
  7. @Renton am I reading that right? I get a flu jab for asthma, are they telling me age is irrelevant or is it as vague as it sounds? ...
  8. This is me stuck in the house for three months... Whitty the social distancing measures announced today will protect the NHS. He says people who are over 70 or who have a significant health condition are being asked to take even greater care. That is to reduce the risk of their having to go to hospital and to protect their health. He says these are people over 70 and people who would normally be asked to have flu injections. Women who are pregnant are also being included, he says. He says that is because the government wants to minimise risk and does not know much at this stage about the impact of coronavirus on pregnant women. (Previously the government has played down the prospect of pregnant women facing increased risk.) Last Updated: 17:10 1h ago

  16. Best wishes to you all mate
  17. I’ve got slightly involved on twitter over this Rooney thing. I understand how he’s feeling but he can completely insulate himself from risk due to his wealth. I get that he feels like he and his colleagues feel used because of the huge amounts of money in top level European football and the football authorities waited until they had no choice but to cancel the fixtures but I dare say the vast majority of us on here and umpteen million others who he’s made his from over the years are all still being asked to turn in tomorrow. So the fat scouse cunt can fuck off
