Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER
PaddockLad replied to Sonatine's topic in Newcastle Forum
I’m currently getting out patient treatment for my worsening asthma condition. For the part 3 years I’ve worked doing maintenance in doctors surgeries, in & out of them a all day every day. On Tuesday morning at the surgery I was working in a woman presented with the symptoms of flu having just arrived back from a holiday in Egypt. I phoned my boss who sent me home (we’d been talking about this for some time, he’s got a degree in risk assessment and understands these things) and told me to phone my gp for an appointment to get signed off. My gp basically said it wasn’t his or his practice’s problem and I should phone 111. NHS England said there was nothing they could help with either until the government advice changes. I can’t say I’m not concerned about all this. Youthful bravado left me some time ago. I’m going to get very Ill indeed if I catch this from fuckin idiots not knowing that turning up at doctors surgeries is going to decimate local plans to cope with the virus. We have a team in Devon who look after this practice https://www.plymouthherald.co.uk/news/local-news/devon-gp-self-isolating-after-3915977 Someone presented there with symptoms too. Le Tissier is a big nosed ill informed know nothing cunt. -
The likes of the ERG have completely won if that’s the position. 50 or so swivel eyed loons. It’s scarcely believable how far backwards we’re going.

Good news, Loganair is taking Soton > Newc among others, in time for Easter too https://www.loganair.co.uk/our-story/latest-news/2020/loganair-steps-in-to-safeguard-uk-air-routes-after-flybe-collapse edit:Easter re booked, £253

Thing is the easyJet & Ryanair planes are too big for most routes flybe operate. Those Bombsrdier prop driven things don’t seat more than about 100 people. Fuckin horrible noisey peices of shite but I’m certainly going to miss them. I can be sat in departures at Southampton in about an hour from my place 35 miles away. It’s like getting on a bus if you’re organised.

Flybe gone tits https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-51746564 300 quid down the drain for me for flights over Easter. Lots of Mags booked on flights to Southampton this weekend struggling too...This is bad shit, it's likely to actually close the airports at Southampton, Exeter, Newquay, Birmingham & Belfast. 85% of flights from Southampton operated by them & 77% from Belfast.

Tbh that's the perfect outcome from this season for me, relegation for Ashley's poxy regime but a cup win for the fans? Bring it on -

She's saying tits but tasteful this lunchtime but that's fluid and could change by tea time. Can I update you later? -
Great pic that. They went to the states before the Beatles & the Stones but seem to be afterthought nowadays. Burdon said all the songs were in Price's name only so he pocketed all the cash and didn't give the others a penny. As you say, what a cunt.

She refuses to watch anything to do with NUFC, citing the fact that they’re “shit”; which I must confess is faultless logic. I’ll be sure to pass on the thoughts of the German Cultural Attaché though I’m better about it now than I was a month ago. She’s asking if you can send a pic through though? No pressure.. -

West Brom got beat by Wigan at home on Saturday They may well field a weaker side, having bigger fish to fry this season The bookies have them slight favourites Anyway, there’s a full turnout from south coast Mags for this with a cheeky midweek stopover in Brum, apart from me.... I booked tickets to see Michael Kiwanuka (ftao @Christmas Tree , he’s not a new young Ivorian centre forward currently tearing up Bundesliga 2, he’s a musician ) about eight months ago as a “secret gig” ie the current Mrs PL knows she’s going out tonight but doesn’t have a clue where we’re going so she is currently v. excited indeed about what’s to come. Imagine my joyful fuckin face when I found out that these two events were to on the same evening. Does anyone know if it’s possible to record something on the red button on iPlayer? You know, just in case we win 8 nil or something?...... -
I watched it too, Burdon is gloriously ill natured...didn’t know he was the Egg Man either

Tbf the England back 5 from the world cup is a fair bit different now, only Pickford and McGuire have survived. Southgate hasn't been shy in wiekding the axe on Rose, Walker, Tripper etc. Fuck me some double save from the mackem there

Think Henderson is on loan from Man Utd at the moment?... no prizes for guessing what will happen next season then...

Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team
PaddockLad replied to Kid Dynamite's topic in Newcastle Forum
While Pardew's reign started promisingly with a 2-0 victory over fellow relegation battlers RKC Waalwijk, subsequent heavy defeats to the likes of Utrecht (4-0), Sparta Rotterdam (4-2) and PSV (3-0) have left supporters in a state of unrest. plus ça change as they say roond oor wey- 10610 replies
