A man threatened to beat me up in a petrol station in Honiton today. He turned to me in the queue for the till and complained that I was standing too close to him, I was probably a yard & a half behind him. Said in a voice loud enough so the whole shop could hear “you’re affecting my anxiety” . Trouble was he was speaking without a mask on directly into my fully masked face. He got to the door and suggested that if I thought it was that funny (the whole shop was giggling) then he’d see me outside. I pointed out to him he was a very brave boy shouting that from the other end if the shop by the exit door and that it wouldn’t be good for his anxiety in the long run. Then I nearly ran over two twelve year olds (approx) on their scooters on the way home at a set of lights. They shot out in front of me just as the lights turned green. I beeped my horn at them, one of them turned round and gave me the wanker sign . I’ve just changed jobs. Today and yesterday I’ve been paired up with a manic racist Chelsea supporting (obvs) Freemason who speaks to himself. Have a good weekend everyone

If the British public’s medium term record is anything to go by it’ll be another half decade before they turn on the tories….and there will have to be a new Labour leader who will stop the left in general tearing each other to shreds

Is it just me, or does all this coming down the line remind anyone of Lloyd's taking over HBOS then the government having to step in and nationalise everything?....

Fuckin hilarious at the end of a great game….still couldn’t believe we’d beaten Man Utd with VanNistlerooy who was on fire at the time.. I’d forgotten all about Dabizas scoring too… -
If that’s to do with the BBC Charter then the Charter has to change…. I don’t see a million miles of difference between Sky News & the BBC news tbh. It probably just needs tweaking so they can properly challenge the array of fuckin liars the government sends out to speak to us. Impartiality helped Brexit enormously and if the BBC can’t recognise that point then they’d be as well giving up because the world has fundamentally changed since the advent of the internet and banging on about 20th century concepts like “impartiality” is nonsense when they couldn’t lay a glove on Farage who they allowed to lie with impunity almost weekly for half a decade..

Spot on @Alex, the Taylor report had a far greater effect on changing the supporter demographic than Sky could ever hope of doing....the demise of the terraces was a result of Hillsborough....they didn't really need to go though, just the fences.. lots of things coincided at that time to change football but surprise surprise Hillsborough & Bradford and their subsequent reports weren't mentioned in the doc... -

I should've guessed..."FOOTBALL IN THE 80S WAS AWFUL..ITALIA 90 CHANGED THAT..!" crowds had started to pick up again around 86/87 but let's not let facts get in the way of bollocks.. -

Anyone else watched this parcel of clichéd, inaccurate & frankly disingenuous bollocks? Fever Pitch: The Rise of the Premier League, Series 1: Episode 1: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p09mqvrt via @bbciplayer -
Tracy Austin won the US open at 17 in 1979…she also had to beat Chris Evert & Martina Navratilova en route to do so. Austin had been around the tour for a couple of years at that point tbf, but ER didn’t have to beat two of the greatest players of all time at around the peak of their powers in order to win on Saturday, she didn’t beat any player inside the current top ten Having said that, the notoriously straight talking and hard to please Navratilova was in raptures about ER..
