Here, all you deed clever university types....quite fancy taking up studies again, a mere 36 years after leaving school. Beleive it or not, my English teacher was very keen for me to stay on at school to do Higher English, whereas I was more interested in getting pissed and watching Pedro and Gazza on a Saturday so needed to finance that....anyway, I got an A for O Grade English and now quite fancy doing the A level Google isn't really helping as it's mostly adverts so am wondering if anyone knows a good online provider or a top 10 site or something?.. 🤔

The government had a chance to stop the worst excesses of the delta varient by closing the air border with India at the point when they put Pakistan and Bangladesh on the red list. They didn't do it till 3 weeks later during which time 20k people came in from India. This is because Johnson wants a decent trade deal with India to make up for the shit show caused by Brexit. Now the same man is suggesting we drop all restrictions just as the cases of the varient he let into the country en masse are rocketing. I don't trust him, he's made a cunt of this at every single point during the last 16 months. Now you're just going along with it when there are perfectly sound scientific and medical grounds for keeping certain restrictions in place. It's got disaster written all over it again, anyone with an ounce of common sense can see it....

1. Masks should still be compulsory on all public transport & in food shops of all kinds ie essential services. NHS should continue to offer phone calls first. This protects essential services employees in their place of work. 2. Other employers may well keep restrictions in place to prevent being taken to court for lack of duty of care towards employees should the contract the virus at work 3. All social centres should be up to the individual. I won't be going to a pub with 20/30 somethings all snogging the face off each other but you can bet the employees of such places will be pointing out the issues I've outlined in 2. should they feel unsafe in that environment In other words, it's a fuckin mess as it stands, zero thought has been put into it.

The UK testing system/track & trace was devised for a country with no vaccine. In its present form & with the apparent plans to open up 2 weeks today it needs to be ditched. Don't know what medics would say about cutting back on testing, obviously if people test positive they isolate but maybe ditch close contact isolation unless you have symptoms?.... as KD says its out there but there's a determination from government to make lowered restrictions work.. they're setting the public up to take the blame for what happens next in any case... I expect if they had to get the tube to work with the plebs they'd think differently...

Anecdotally a lot of kids are off school due to isolation but every day last week I heard some virologist or other on the news saying its unvaccinated under 30s who are driving the spread of the delta varient. That's why the removal of restrictions last month was delayed so they can get vaccinated. Seeing as it's not compulsory for adults how can the government impose it on under 18s? Its not happening iyam

I took £80 off him before the football started playing 3 card brag though... Then I lost most of that playing 5 card brag, where you play with two cards up on the deal, bit like poker but you get all your cards straight away . At one point in that I got a 4 & a 6 unsuited, looked at the other three and discovered 3 10s looking back at me, it’s pretty fuckin random. Then I won that back & more in 2 marathon games of knock out whist/trumps which went on for about an hour....if someone goes out on 7 they have to pay £14 into the pot, £12 if you’re out on 6 etc etc...if it goes down to 2 players on 2 and they both win 1 hand each then everyone is back in and you start again...it went to 2 with one each 3 times in one of the games, where I was roundly condemned for my tactics by the whole table but fuck them I won & they didn’t.... I have a Saturday up the club like this maybe once every 2/3 months....the rest of them are at it most weekends, football bets in the week etc etc.... they don’t like me playing because although I know enough to win I’m not enough of a “player” so they can’t read me very well, sometimes I don’t really know what to do so I’m unpredictable and it makes them chuck things when they really shouldn’t....so I’m even more unpopular than the kid who won 2k on Harry McGuire’s heed on the WhatsApp group this morning
