Apparently Crimea is short of water and the Ukrainians won't open a canal or something. Add that to Putins desire to recreate the Russian/USSR "empire" & his own man being deposed as Ukrainian president in 2014 then I think there is more than enough justification in Putins own mind for invasion...

Fucker beggars belief. When the eyes of the world are on the Olympics in China this week I’d have thought him and the rest of the self righteous brothers would’ve been highlighting the plight of the Uyghur Moslems that Ping has banged up in concentration camps. Not a fuckin dickie bird from him, Hayward, Delaney etc etc… I don’t like being owned by the Saudis. But I dislike everyone associated with NUFC being a punch bag for individuals in the media with blatant agendas even less. Just fuck off, put these bullshit points to those who did the fuckin deal in the first place, thinly veiled attacks on our blameless support just when we look like we might be turning a corner are so obvious it’s fuckin laughable. -

No but I've been to Ukraine... The locals gave the lad in the pic that flag after the game v Kharkiv. They were fuckin lovely to us. They all said how corrupt their country was though. The club doesn't exist anymore, can only guess what happened to the gangster who owned it who propelled them into Europa League football...

Still no footage of that Gloom, you're a video journo aren't you? am certainly not saying it didn't happen, just I can't find any footage of it....

Am I detecting evidence of a Friday afternoon session? Landlords folks used to run it & he was the chef, fuckin great place in those days, still is to be fair , buy he told us he can't get a chef at the right price to make meals work for him...shame really..

If they don't go in the day after the winter Olympics finish then it's doubtful...at the moment Vlad doesn't want to steel the limelight from his old mate Ping...

It's opportunistically using yesterday's news to denigrate a non threat. Apparently on the eve of war. Fuckin pointless in the big scheme of things. So we're in clear agreement really.. we're just looking at it differently
-
Yes, this is what I'm suggesting is Starmer's priority, an election rather than war. I get it, it just stinks to me. No, not sure why you'd ask tbh
-
I understand what people are saying but it just smacks of settling old scores to me. Corbyn is not an issue when we're on the edge of war. It's utter bollocks iyam.
-
One is rather more important in the current circumstances than the other iyam. Either he wants to avoid conflict or he wants to win the next election. Conflating the two is what Johnson is currently doing...funny that..
-
He gets a free ride because he's not Corbyn?
-
OK... I'll stand corrected if you can find a link because I can't, there was no coverage on TV news yesterday that I saw. I'm not pro Russia, but I am pro pointing out that the Tories are rotten with bent roubles from Putin's goons. Starner would've better putting the emphasis on Russia feeling they can wander around and do precisely what they like and the last decade of Tory government has encouraged them to do precisely that
-
They've had no publicity about their stance on Ukraine till yesterday. Go figure.
-
Yeah. But you didn't know about this online event till Starner's comments. That is rather my point...what the fuck is he using a column in the Guardian for to attack a fringe element who have no say over anything? ....
-
And did you know that before Starmer randomly attacked them yesterday?

My dad knew Jim Clark when they were teenagers in Berwickshire & I knew Steve Hislop when I was a teenager... think the moral here is if you drive cars, bikes or aircraft very very quickly then it's best to avoid our family -
And have stop the war been making nationwide headlines with this hardline pro Russian stance?

She lost then accused her fellow Dems of rigging the vote. Trump publicly supported her, adding fuel to the rumour she was also a Russian asset who would run as a third candidate in 2020 thus splitting the Democrat vote and allowing Trump to win....so apart from that she'd have definitely won, yeah..
