Even if it gets to 15% thaslts 15% more next September than this. Labour’s price freeze plan is 29 billion for 6 months.. That’s the quirk of Neo Liberalism… I don’t think the banks will let western democracies go to the wall they just want to keep the public money rolling in to their coffers…but basket cases like Venezuela get filleted by corporate vultures. The markets keep UK/EU/US on a long leash but make it just about possible for them to squeak by…

100 billion. Furlough cost 69 billion. So when inflation hits it’s predicted 20% peak next year how much will they have to borrow to cover next winters heating bills? … no word from Labour about energy market reform, well quel fuckin surprise

So we’re no longer “all in it together “ ? 🤔 That shitty book her and the rest of the coven of cunts wrote may be a good guide to what’s about to happen

In a significant way it’s not Truss who’s received the kicking from Lycett here, it’s Laura K and the BBC. He’s pricked the bullshit balloon of impartiality with a sarcasm so fuckin searing they’ll never have a non politician or business leader on ever again. The top journos have been leaving for LBC for years now so they can say what is actually going on in this country, see Maitlis in Edinburgh last week for details.

That yesterday seemed bent for the reasons you and others have outlined . Others not so much as you say. There wasn’t a massive outcry from Man City fans & the football public in general when it was used in that game in our favour because VAR reached the correct decision that no one could reasonably argue with . Before VAR we did have the frankly ludicrous situation where the commentators and gimps in the studio could assess contentious decisions and incidents better than the refs on the pitch. The ref only has one view in real time. So now we have the equally ridiculous situation where the media have got their way with VAR but it’s being used to overturn demonstrably correct decisions as called on the pitch by the ref

It was only ever a media talking point….”the refs need help, we have the technology!” People went along with it. I distinctly remember saying in here that it wasn’t required, that it was a media fad and only ever really benefitted folk watching tv. As you say it been predictably proven to be utter bollocks. Even when they’ve tried to change the rules of the game to suit it it’s been shown to be inanely fuckin irrelevant because it’s still humans making decisions.

There was a Leicester supporter on here a few weeks ago explaining all this when we were in for Maddison

Seems they’ve flogged their best young player to Brighton too

I don’t think West Ham, Man U or Arsenal have the squads to cope with two games a weeking including Sundays for the next two months….thers a massive opportunity here, not just for us, maybe Brighton & Palace too? 🤔

The bench weren’t as bad as that little fuckin scrote Harvey Elliott. Dancing around in front of us after their winner and celebrating by making gun signs with the goal scorer, in Liverpool, a week after a 9 year old girl was killed in her own home in the city. Wee fucker was also their best player…
