Newcastle United v AFC Bournemouth - QEII Sombre Edition

I think sides outside the top 6/7 now know just to give us possession and we’re not good enough to break them down. The answer could be another 150 mill in January. But that puts us in danger of wandering into Everton territory/falling foul of FFP. Am not criticising Howe or the recruitment we’ve done thus far. It does show how shallow the squad is, it will take time to put right, but I also think the figures are daunting and there’s no guarantee of success. We’re a far better project than Everton, all major positions behind the scenes are filled with what on paper look like top quality professionals unlike their set up where was at one point 3 different camps were buying players. If we are stuck in mid table this season it wouldn’t really bother me but the fuckin abuse being dished out by morons on social media is fuckin nauseating and whether we like it or not they are the public face of our support. No nuance or balance, just WAAAAHHH WUH SHITE MAN SACK HOWE HES SHITE…it really fuckin pisses me off… -
This is brilliant, as is the whole series. Dunston’s finest features heavily in this episode, it’s hosted by a fairly dry posho historian and Anita Anand, who is its fair to say is quite tidy

At the moment it’s 200 mill to draw games we’d have probably lost last season 😳 -

Yeah we don’t have the players to break down massed defences, our best displays are on the counter, see Man City and Liverpool 👍 -

He’s had no fuckin service. That’s partly because there’s usually 9 defenders round him, but that’s because we’re fannying around with it out wide and not getting the ball in early enough… -

He's capo di tutti capi . Basically the head of the worlds leading trans national crime syndicate. The ex president of the US is an acknowledged subordinate, and the likes of Farage and Banks use the services he can provide whilst simultaneously piping the evil bustard off

Its sad for the queens family. I’ve no idea how anyone can grieve someone else’s to the extent that some are apparently able to…and the fuckin state of some of those turning up to shuffle past the queen, fuckin hell… they’re not that upset and fuckin respectful if they can’t put a shirt & tie on or wear something that’s suitable for what is a state occasion

How can you respect a man that needs someone to give him a hand to get dressed in the morning?

Something else I’ve realised this week….current & ex service people are largely lying to themselves about the Queen being their “boss”… symbolically yes, literally not. In reality Thatcher, Major, Blair, Brown, Cameron,May and Johnson have been their bosses and not the queen, regardless of who you swear allegiance to. It sounds like a cop out, an unwillingness to recognise the reality “oh yes I served HM in Iraq” … no, you did the bidding of the US in their desire to exploit natural resources and Blair followed on behind. I suppose for some it’s got to be so, to justify some of the things they are compelled to do…. “I do this in the name of the queen, and God appoints her so…” Not a criticism btw, not sure we could call ourselves a nation without effective armed forces, I just object to some of the shitty things they’re asked to do 👍
