It absolutely is . Eddie hasn’t changed the way we’ve played despite not having the personnel to do it as we did last season . On a brighter note -

I gave you an open goal there Mr “I want a defensive midfielder NOW!” and you’ve basically passed it across goal to an opposition player -

So how much cover in midfield did Dan Burn get?… we’re still suffering from teams dinking it over the top of the press… -

Tbh would you let 1000s of completely unqualified reactionary twats tell you how to do your job? Am not suggesting Elanga won’t torture Burn but how many times do games fail to pan out the way we think?… Thought Burn did well v Saka twice last season, he got help though. With Gordon on that side we are weaker than with either one or both of the Joes… -

Dan Burn is odds on to start. Tino covers 4 positions from the bench. Simple as that. Gordon is in the squad apparently but Wilson starts iyam … -

I think if I keep them in the Gste/Bigg Market area in general we should be ok

Well it’s not for me , that’s why am not properly sure where to go …. I’d rather go to the Bodega or spend the night down Ouseburn but that’s not your average punters idea of what a night out in Newcastle is about as AH says….

Oh yeah pre game, does Mad Mick still do his routine with the away fans? Was it him that did it? 😆 someone said he is at the Wonderbar nowadays? Is it worth going @Christmas Tree ??

Ok… now the boxing has been cancelled the pressure is on Friday night’s shenanigans… we should be out 3/4ish and we’ll be wandering into town along the quayside…looking for suggestions along roughly this route… where’s good for Friday after work pints? Possibly somewhere full of post work young lasses for the significant youth element of our party? (Honest, two sets of dads/lads & the lads’ mates 😆) Then later I take it the Gate is where the action is? For the older crowd I think Popworld is now at the bottom of the Bigg Market? Any alternatives? TIA

When the dog dies I think me and the now semi-permanent Mrs PL will be making plans to visit Switzerland… not told her yet like, saving that for her birthday ☺️

FFP isn’t currently letting us change the squad as quickly as Man City did, or as fast as the vast majority of our support inexplicably feel that they are entitled to 😆…it’s a bit of a cunt but people need to start realising what the situation is. The narrative that Ashley left us in a good position FFP wise is now over. His complete disregard for growing commercial income as well as trophies etc now leaves us with our hands tied trying to play catch up with the likes of spurs who we were financially superior to in 2007
