When the dog dies I think me and the now semi-permanent Mrs PL will be making plans to visit Switzerland… not told her yet like, saving that for her birthday ☺️

FFP isn’t currently letting us change the squad as quickly as Man City did, or as fast as the vast majority of our support inexplicably feel that they are entitled to 😆…it’s a bit of a cunt but people need to start realising what the situation is. The narrative that Ashley left us in a good position FFP wise is now over. His complete disregard for growing commercial income as well as trophies etc now leaves us with our hands tied trying to play catch up with the likes of spurs who we were financially superior to in 2007

Manchester was governed by the Anglo Saxon Kingdom of Northumbria till about 923 CE -
That’s gaslighting and they’ve been doing it for fuckin years 😏

Most clubs outside of us Villa and maybe West Ham will vote for the changes as described . The middling ones need the mooted increased FFP allowance to build up for a challenge for Europe as opposed to us/Villa etc who will challenge the bullshit six for Europe right now (in reality that’s them just attempting to remain mid table) The perennially struggling will vote the same so I think there’s a decent chance the changes will go through so fuck all will change. Tbh, if it comes down to challenging it in court I might be out at that point. The whole thing is now just a tiresome parcel of fuckin sheep spew

You worked at a bookies?…. I think this explains a lot tbh

They did it at SJP the season we finished 5th under Pardew, they bought that dirty bastard de Jong on and pushed Yaya further forward at which point he promptly scored two which basically won them the title -
Well yeah that’s what I’m saying Joe and Pope are out. So we have to adapt with what we’ve got. I think that’s why at 2-4 Bruno was pushed forward and it worked well. Wishing we had a player of the type we’ve not played with before that we couldn’t afford anyway isn’t really groping towards a solution
-
So do you think that was the most pragmatic option (due to our injury crisis) during the window if finances had allowed? …. because as you’re suggesting we don’t have that player at the club. We didn’t need this sort of player last year, if everyone’s fit the system doesn’t work that way. We run and we press. We don’t ask a player to sit in. Everyone was happy with it last year but because of personnel issues we’re still doing it but it’s not working . Not saying change isn’t required, it plainly is. Bruno went forward at 2-4 on Saturday and was fuckin brilliant the utter bastard but we didn’t concede when he did it, so maybe we need to work on that? 🤷🏻♂️

Thats not what I make of the post, I think he just doesn’t play with a proper defensive midfielder because It takes away from the press. It was Lerma who came in and didn’t really work at DM at AFCB (2018/19, they finished 14th) when Howe was accused of being too loyal to his defenders like Steve Cook and Simon Francis, that’s why Lerma was brought in and it didn’t really work. They went down the following season. Am not suggesting we’re going anywhere near relegation, am suggesting Eddie’s running game will have its limits and with Tonali suspended we’ve had to stick with it regardless

I think this single point means the auld hippy bastard is utterly fucked

Saw this at the weekend and think there’s something in it as it’s been largely corroborated by a couple of Bournemouth supporting mates but tbf I remembered them saying it at the time. I’d like to think that such a highly intelligent man will be able to make things work with what he has available. We’ll see.

Burn went to a charity do hosted by Shearer on Saturday night and apparently Shearer ripped into him about his performance which was allegedly laughed off by BDB. Hes from Blyth so is probably expecting a shit at any point tbh, it’s that sort of town Tino should start. The Forest right winger ripped poor Dan a new one on Boxing Day too
