just got back from seeing it. pretty good to be honest, well worth a look. plenty of good shots of newcastle and whitley bay, although its always raining. anna friel is FIT and has a pretty decent geordie accent. the football scenes are pretty realistic, the only downside being they keep flipping between the real players and fake ones. james nesbitt isnt in it after all, thank fuck the ending is pretty cheesy but what do you expect. all and all its actaully a pretty good 'real' film. not a shit feature length biker grove episode like purely belter. the main footage comes from our fa cup win against chelsea and our last game of the season against liverpool ( i think )

not tight, but very debt free which is more than can be said for most of my ex uni mates! na, if theres few of us in the pub il get the rounds in and make up for it. reminds me actually, when i was in the states went for some grub with 3 southerners. i had a $6 burger and a free glass of water and put $12 for the final bill to cover the tip etc. the other 3 had $6 burgers and 6 bottles of bud each. the final bill came to about $80 and they all had a go that i wouldnt put $20 in (for a $6 burger). honest question was that me being tight or just not letting meself be taken for a ride.

check your highlight, i had all this with dot bum before. i dont claim to be straight edge, i just dont drink or do drugs and i think its an interesting philosophy thats all. a lot of people you talk to disregard the whole chastity thing as well. SE is about keeping your body toxin free in my eyes. im monogomous in relationships and practice safe sex out of them so im up for a bit of dirty lovin as much as the next guy!

ps , i know im easy to get a bite out of, but whats not very straight edge? if i get riled its only cos i managed 3 years at uni and about another 5 years going out with my mates in newcastle and not one friend, girlfriend etc etc had a problem with me not drinking. yet a lot of people who i never met and whos real names i dont even know give me hassle for it.

jesus wept indeed. why do people on here think that just cos i dont drink i must be a hermit in my bedroom who hates all who dare to taste alcohol. im out 3 or 4 nights a week. Does everybody on here honestly need to be trolleyed to even consider having a good night? being sober has its plus points 1- i go home with money in my pocket 2- im not hungover for work 3- if a drunk person starts a fight with me ive got more chance of winning 4 - the standard of girls you pull tends to remain pretty good while my mates tend to deteriorate as the night wears on 5- no standing in the cold for a taxi as i can drive us all home 6 - as i can drive we can go to leeds, liverpool, manc for nights out and come back the same night
