I'm shocked they don't want to fight for their president! Honestly man I can't imagine mobilisation in any modern country going well. You gave them pornhub and McDonald's but now you want them to die horribly in a field full of shit or burn to death In the steel walls of a tank? Good luck.

Given the damage the tories have unleashed on the country in the last 12 years I've never understood Labour's blank refusal to engage in a coalition of some sort. It's always ruled out before every election & it does my head in.

It's completely absurd for starters. They'd likely Nuke the entire country and once....as one city nuked would see their entire country wiped off the map in the blink of an eye. The UK has constant nuclear threats & that's before you get on to the rest of NATO. It's not a war anyone would ever win, the rich, the poor, whoever would all be condemned to a slow death on a similar wasteland.

Yeh. It's all ultimately pointless as a conflict. It's a deflection to sustain his kleptocracy. What an absolute prick the man is. The TV propaganda has gone in to overdrive calling Britain "the root of all evil" etc etc. Once again he's on TV talking about Nukes. That doesn't end well for anybody so what's the point? We should get a bank holiday when someone puts a bullet in the cunt.

Aye My mate in the forces says the lads call them "chocolate medals". He curated me through Edward's, three of which were for Jubilees and the other was for working with the Canadian army briefly. He was in the forces for 4 months....I think Harry was in there a decade. Sad thing is you've got royals poncing about like they're seasoned veterans with medals from arsehole to breakfast time and I've got mates who've been to Iraq/Afghanistan and actually won medals that never see the light of day. Not through shame or embarrassment, just sheer disinterest.

I went to the pub yesterday and they were playing the funeral on the speakers outside...loud! Inside it was on every TV, one which was about 80". It was louder than they ever have the football.. It was very Orwellian/Black Mirror. I went outside with my pint to meet people, whilst the choir was blaring out of the speaker there was a man going through ashtrays for cigarette butts. A young kid stopped on his bike and looked up at the speaker to see what the fuck was going on. Absolutely bizarre.

Aye they're utter weirdos and they really shouldn't be in an official role in 2022. They have a lot of power and a lot of our money. If it was just a bunch of lads playing "make believe" and calling themselves "King" or "Prince" or the Earl of Jabronitown on their own dime I wouldn't mind. As long as they were subjected to the same laws as the rest of us... Theyre almost certainly all racist.

The BBC were referring to him as "The Duke of York" and he was wearing all his medals like nothing had happened. It's almost as if they're trying to style it out. My sister was telling me Prince Charles met Diana when she was 16 and he was in his 30s so he's possibly got an ally in rascalry there....

My mam rang for an appointment at her village Drs and they didn't have an appointment for a month. She's nearly blind & the only way this can be mitigated is with medicinal procedures. Cancelling stuff for the Queen when the system is already tits up is absolutely insane

Russian weapons, equipment & rations etc have been horrific. Mainly because they're corrupt as fuck so some Oligarch or other is taking huge profits from every contract. At the start of the conflict their rations were from 2015! Imagine what that did to morale! A large part of the battering Ukraine are dishing out is due to western weaponry, drones & javelin missiles etc.
